General Summary
Sunday 20/05/2345
At Genevieve’s
- M finds Alaric and asks him to tell K to check on S in her room, saying she’ll be back to perform soon and runs after B
- Gen tells K and G to head on out, she’ll get dressed and head out soon
- K and G head back into the main area
- They see Alaric heading into the kitchen and says “The hot elf wanted you to check on the Fairy” and that B was getting the weekends guy, whom he hates
- K tells Al Gen is up and getting ready
- B is trying to take back alleys and less traveled roads
Micarafae and Bruzrik
- M is able to catch up B, telling him he was right and did cast detect thoughts on him, apologising and saying she owes him answers, and asks him not to check out the ring without her, he agrees and says if she ever does that again they will have words, she says she promises and holds out her pinky, they pinky promise and she rushes back to the inn
- B knocks on the door and a short young Human man answers the door and asks who B is, B asks is he is Gessuipe and says “Why the hell at you at Genevieve's” Gessuipe says he thought it was friday, B says it’s saturday and he says “oh it the bard playing tonight?” and rushes off
- An old man looks out the blinds at B, makes eye contact as he slowly closes the blinds
Genevieve's cont.
- K and G head into M’s room and find S asleep with a snapped wand beside her and looking like she’s been crying
- K and G decide not to disturb her and leave the room
- K tells Al she has a couple questions when he has a moment, he puts up a “back in 5” sign and she head to a side room
- K asks if he knows about The Iron Pit, he asks where she heard that and K says Corvin had told them to go there, Al says it’s a good place to get info but it’s not really his kind of place, says there’s a lot of info that gets passed around but not the kind he wants to deal with
- Says you need an invite from someone or you can pay to get in
- Says one of the ways to get in is through Todd and Kelsin’s place, The Jolly Jackalope, that they have a storm cellar
- K thanks him and Al asks if they need anything else and K says that was all
- Al puts a hand on her shoulder and asks if M is single, saying she probably gets that a lot, but he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her, K says it hasn’t come up in conversation so she couldn’t say
- G goes up to K and asks what they were talking about and K explains saying that Todd is their way in
Micarafae
- M is walking back through town, Checks for thieves’ cant, but doesn’t see any and sees a brown haired man zip past her
Genevieve's cont.
- M walks in, sees the weekend guy talking to Al and getting an earful from him
- Things seem to calm down at Genevieve’s
Bruzrik
- B decides to head to The Silver Hourglass Bathhouse & Spa without telling anyone where he’s going
Genevieve's cont.
- M walks in asks if K checked on S, K explains what is going on
- Alaric sees M is back, gets a little flustered but then makes sure everything is set up for her
- M gets on stage, performance gets off to a rough start, but Al grabs some buckets and provides some percussion helping her out
- M sees the old coot from a few days ago
- Old coot gives “Old Coot Inspiration”
- M thanks the crowd and heads off stage in a manner most unlike her usual exits
- Al goes through the crowd collecting tips and give them to M (20gp)
- M thanks him and presses a gold piece into his hand thanking him for the assist and for putting up with them
Bruzrik
- B heads towards the bathhouse near the center of Ravenswood, can tell from the architecture that a lot of money has gone into it
- Notices 2 entrances, the main one being for the general public, the second has someone manning the door and leads inside and up a flight of stairs
- B scopes the place out, two sets of two guards wandering around, this area seeming to have more protection
- B heads to the entrance manned by a Half Elf, seeing velvet drapes and what seems like it could be a chandelier inside
- B tries to schmooze his way him, saying he’s a hero and the door person lets him in free of charge after swooning over meeting an adventurer
- B heads in
Genevieve's cont.
- M asks if B has got back, G and K say they haven’t seen him, they try to figure out where he might be and where to go next, M says all she can say is he’s not going to the magic shop
- M says she wouldn’t mind a bath but doesn’t want to leave S. She sees Althea and calls her over, Althea agrees to keep and eye on S and to point B in their direction if he comes back and that she’ll be ready to back them up if/when things should go down
- M, K and G head to the baths
The Silver Hourglass & Spa (Bruzrik)
- B enters the starlight lounge, seeing a lot of middle class type folks around, some private rooms and a fancy desk at the back leading to the fancy baths for noble type people guarded by a beefy looking Human
- B approaches the desk , two Half Elf ladies who look very similar greet him as he approaches telling him to head to the changing rooms to remove weapons and armour
- B asks if a “friend” of his was around
- Lianis asks if he’s meeting someone, B says he knows she frequents here and wanted to surprise her Taryth says she loves surprises and tells B she’s currently upstairs, saying that she could go let her know he’s here, B says it’s a fun little game they play, saying that if anyone else knows it might give it away and ruin the whole thing, they ask if he minds if they just run it by the headmistress and he says it’s ok, Taryth offers to go and Lianis looks a little unsure
- A halfling walks up, puts towels on the desk, gives B a side eye and walks away
- B spots a Half Orc bartender just shaking drinks constantly with a big grin on his face
- B gives Lianis a gold piece for her troubles, says she’s been saving for something nice from The Enchanted Trinket
At The Silver Hourglass Bathhouse & Spa (together)
- The other three arrive and head to the half elf by the fancy door and ask if he’s seen a Dragonborn, he says “The Hero?” and asks if they’re heroes too and M says the travel with him and she’s a bard, and asks for a gold from each and the comply, M also giving him a silver piece
- He stops G and asks if she’s a Dwarf, she says she is, he says he doesn’t want to come off as rude but he’s never seen a Dwarf and thinks they pretty cool, than asks her if it’s true that they live on mountains, G says the live more inside them and he proceeds to tell her about how his dad knew this cool Dwarf and he was told that he lived on a mountain and proceeds to simp over her, saying he could show her around town
- M tells him the need to get inside but that G knows where to find him and they head in, seeing B is kneeling by the desk talking to the half elf woman
- A striking Tiefling woman with dark crimson hair comes down the stairs, her skin has a slight lavender hue, she has amber eyes and wears flowing clothes that cling tightly to her body in places, not leaving much to the imagination and wears a delicate choker with a crescent moon adorning it
- She asks B if he’s the hero and he says he is and says Zalthea failed to do her justice in describing her beauty
- M walks up to the kneeling B and says “who’s flirting now” in a slightly snarky tone
- She introduces herself as Xeranova and extends her hand, B kisses it and introduces himself
- Xeranova asks who the other 3 are, M curtsies and says “Pleasure, my lady, The name’s Micarafae” X gives her a slight once over. G waves and M introduces her. K Introduces herself and Xeranova looks at her interested and M asks if she’s admiring her plumage
- X says as per the rules they have to remove any weapons or armour
- G looks uncomfortable and X puts a hand on her, telling her to relax and G feels her body loosen up, obeying X’s suggestion
- G thinks maybe it might be a good idea to just relax and chill at the bar
- B uses dragon hide before removing his armour
- They are led to the changing rooms, and decide to go into the into the coed rooms
- B asks the staff if they can get a little privacy because K is shy and they step out
- B closes the door and asks what the hell they’re doing there, they say they didn’t know he was here and M says She didn’t know where he was and she wanted a bath. K and G scold him for disappearing without letting anyone know where he was, saying they’re supposed to be in this together. B says he was here to gather information, the rest of the group say it just would have been nice to know what was going on
- B shoots a glare at M as she’s talking
- B says “don’t you think a whole group of adventurers coming in here instead of just one is a bit more suspicious”
- M says “Yeah ok, It’s more suspicious, but we didn’t necessarily know that you were going to be here, it was kind of a 50/50 and I wanted a bath” G follows that by saying she wants to go have a bath emphatically
- The group check on G, alarmed by what seems like an uncharacteristic enthusiasm from her
- G decides she would really like a drink and suggests they go to the bar
- B and K trying to figure out what is going on but can’t pick up on anything
- B pulls out his platinum dragon claw pendant and holds it in front of G and says “Gwrinri, do you like the shiny?” She seems perplexed and doesn’t want anything to do with it, she’s undressed and ready to go
- As M gets undressed she secures her hair on top of her head with a couple of hat pins
- M leans over to K and says “So he does take off the armour?” K chuckles
- B keeps the dragonclaw on him and loops M’s ring onto the same chain
- B turns to the group and says “Since you’re already here, Zalthea is upstairs in one of the private baths, my plan is to go into the bath next to hers and see if I could hear anything and possibly catch her unawares”
- Interrupted by a distant barking dog
- B continues “As far as the staff are aware, Zalthea and I go way back and they will not tell her that I am here, I have made sure of that. But I don’t know how long she’ll be here or how long she has been here, so we must take the utmost care…” M Finishes his sentence with “And act quick” B affirms
- G says she’s gonna go get a drink and B says “Kree, for the love of the gods, please keep an eye on her” K agrees
- B puts his hand in the middle to do the team thing that people do, M follows, until they realise G is gone already
- M asks B if she should stick with him, he says she should see what she can dig up from the staff and asks her to keep X away from him because he can’t keep that act up
- G zips over to the bar and is greeted by a surfer bro named Garrin, asking for something alcoholic, decides to go for the fae blossom wine
- K steps in and says she’ll also have a glass
- The wine shifts colours in the glass, the bartender says he likes the attitude so it’s on the house
- The wine tastes sweet and makes them feel kinda dream like
- He asks what they think and G is all about it and he tells them that as they drink the colour will shift to match their emotions
- G stares at her drink and watches it shift from pink to purple and is mesmerised
- K’s drink is bright white
- M goes straight to X and asks about her clothes, saying they are amazing, X does a twirl for her and says to check out the tailor in town
- M says she might have to because the outfit looks ravishing on X and X says they would look good on her too, M jokes that they probably aren’t her size
- X says “Stop by The Golden Stitch and tell them Xeranova sent you”
- X turns to B and asks if he’s ready to surprise his friend, he confirms and thanks her for being willing to go along with it and not give away the surprise, she says she too like to have fun
- She taps the guard, letting him know to step aside and snaps her fingers a couple times, the entire staff seeming to respond. Garrin Tells G and K that X seems to want them, telling them they can take their drinks, they say thanks, K putting a gold piece on the counter before they both head over to join the group
- X leads them up an extravagant staircase and through and even more fancy door and leads them into the hourglass room
- It is dimly lit, almost like mood lighting. There’s a really big communal pool in the center with three doors around it, one to the north, east and west
- X leads the group to the pools edge and says “Zalthea always takes the east room, but you knew that, didn’t you” B does a “disgustingly low” bow and says “Thank you again my lady”
- X puts a hand on his shoulder and says “Don’t cause any trouble” using the same effect she earlier used on G
- She then looks over at G and says “Given the chance, I feel like you two could hit it off” Giving them both a wink and then leaves
- M sees something is going on and does an arcana check on B, K gives her a hand (nat 20)
- They are both able to tell that both him and G have been charmed and that there is something else going on with X, seeming to be something like part succubus
- K and M give each other a look knowing nothing necessarily sinister has happened, but their suspicions are aroused nonetheless
- M asks X if any of the pools have any sort of magical effects, X tells her if she had ordered ahead of time they could have made something happen, M says she’ll keep it in mind for next time, X gives her a smile and a wink
- K says she certainly wouldn’t mind a next time and that it’s a really nice place, M agrees
- B is idly tracing his finger in the water and says he’s never coming back here
- G doesn’t like how much of a downer B is being, she keeps sipping at her drink and gives B and annoyed look
- B waits for X to leave and grabs M by the shoulders with an intensity in his demeanor and asks “Do you think spying on someone is causing trouble?”
- M thinks for a bit before says “I think it’s possible to spy on someone in a way that doesn’t cause any trouble” He lets her go and lets out a relieved sigh saying he was hoping she would say that
- B tries to insight check himself and fails
- M has a strong feeling that it’s some kind of succubussy ability (cue bussy jokes)
- M contemplates trying to smack it out of him before her, G and K realise the water in the main pool has some kind of magic dispelling kind of effect and M suggest everybody gets in the water
- G and B start to gradually feel more like themselves
- B is just floating around the pool while G is making an effort to get out but M grabs her arm and starts trying to chat to her to try and keep her in the water long enough for it to have a full effect.
- G is fully ignoring her and trying to pull away from her as the charm is wearing off
- M calls out to K to ask for help and she grabs G’s other arm
- G starts splashing and thrashing to get out as Taryth peeks out from behind a pillar, seeing what’s going on and says “Alright, I don’t ask questions. Do you guys want any food any more drinks”
- M feels the need to justify what is going on, saying G has a phobia of water and she asked them to help her out as G cries out for help
- Taryth says they’re in the section where they don’t ask questions, asks again if they want food or drink
- M asks what she would recommend, K asks for another glass of the wine and M asks for a water, Taryth says they have moondew essence and sylvan spring water, M asks which is her favourite and she says moondew essence so M asks for a glass of that
- B and G feel the effects of the charm fully wear off, B is standing in the pool staring at his hands slightly pissed off at the evenings events
- M looks at G and asks if she’s back with them as G is hyperventilating. M cautiously lets go of her, apologising for having to have done that as G climbs out of the pool and lies down on the floor, catching her breath
- A server with a large tray of food walks by, going into the east door
- M eyes B, checking if he caught that too and he makes his way over to her and whispers to her that he’s going to go into the north door and see if he can hear anything through the walls, telling her to try to keep any of the servants out, she gives him a confirming nod
- B stands and says to Taryth that he’s going to head into a private room and asks that no one interrupt him, Taryth responds with “Oh, alone? Weird… Ok”
- She leaves and B goes to the north door, knocking on it, and hearing no response opens it and heads in
- The room is themed like a wintery hotspring, the ceiling has a magical effect on it, showing a night sky with an aurora. There is a big private bath and a bed to the left, some couches and tables on the right
- B puts his ear to the stone wall to see if he can hear anything. He hears a big slap, as do the other three in the main room
- The server who went into the east room comes with a red mark across their face, as though they had been slapped, they attempt to hide it behind their tray as they run out of the room
- B attempts to use a claw to discreetly drill a hole in the wall but fails, feeling some resistance as though it’s been reinforced
- B uses his acid spit on the tip of his claw to slowly corrode a peephole through the stone
- M gets up to join K next to G and asks if she’s alright, G says she needs a towel and M offers to go get one for her
- As M gets up, Garrin comes by, placing drinks on a table nearby, recognising G and K, greeting them and asking if they’re having a good time, seeing G staring at the floor and comments that she doesn’t seem as happy as she was before
- K explains that the wine seems to have made her feel a bit down, Garrin apologises and K says it’s fine and thanks him
- Garrin says he snuck them a special drink called The Tears Of Selûne, explaining that it’s a silvery blue liquor that is supposedly only made during a full moon, G says it sounds like something she needs
- G takes the drink and resumes looking at the floor
- Garrin takes a knee in front og G and says “Hey, if you ever need anything, my name is Garrin” G thanks him and tells him she appreciates it
- Garrin gets up and looks to K and points to a silvery blue drink saying that’s the moondew essence and says it’s made from moon flower nectar, K thanks him and Garrin says they’re pretty cool
- M gets back with the towels, handing them to G and uses prestidigitation to make a stress ball also handing it to G
- G drinks The Tears Of Selûne and gets advantage on insight checks for an hour
- K drinks her wine, this time it mirroring the fact that her anxiety is a little high
- M drinks the moon dew essence, noting that it’s really nice and after she finished the glass, her skin gives off a faint glow
- M goes and finds a seat near to the east door
- B has managed to make a small hole in the wall just large enough to peek through
- Looking in he sees a room themed around a fae forest with faux bonfires and ethereal looking trees, in the deep end of the pool is naked Minotaur woman grabbing food from a tray, holding it about her head and eating it
- Zalthea is about 7 feet tall, extremely muscular with a deep stormy grey fur streaked with white lightning like patterns, her sharp horns curve upwards and “massive honkers”
- B considers casting sleep but decides not to, instead exiting the room and sees a glowing M sitting between the two doors, staring at her for a second before saying “I’m not super familiar with smooth skins, but this doesn’t seem right” She simply replies “Magic water” and he questions the decision to continue drinking things from the place run by the lady who just compelled two members of the group saying “Any place that is willing to magically drug people is willing to regularly drug them too”
- B gestures for the group to gather round saying that she’s definitely in there and seems to be alone and pretty focused on eating. M adds that she didn’t seem too fond of the person who brought the food in, seeing as they came out with a slap mark on their face, B says he was wondering what they noise was
- M says she seems volatile, B says he’s feeling pretty volatile too and asks the group how they would like to go about things, M says she’s not keen on any kind of confrontation here, given what X has already done, she doesn’t want to know what else she can do
- B says they only have a few hours before they have to deal with Nekros. M asks if they want to try head to The Iron Pit before that, saying she’s pretty sure she can convince Todd to let them in and wondering if they may be able to get any more information from Lunae, saying she could disguise herself and try get close to her, at the very least they could ask Todd what he knows
- B says if Zalthea doesn’t show up tonight, he will be back here to get answers from her
- The group get ready to leave right as Zalthea opens the door, steam emanating from inside and walks out to the main pool and sitting in it with a big sigh, saying “Temperature’s colder in this one” and gives the party a once over
- K gives her a wave and she gives a very slight wave back, winking at K as she does
- M asks her if the room was getting a bit too warm for her, Zalthea says she asks them to make her room extra hot
- M asks her if she’s tried that thing that some people do where they go from a sauna to plunging into ice cold water, adding it’s supposed to be good for inflammation and such. Zalthea say she has heard of it and M adds that she’s never tried it herself, saying she might be a bit too much of a baby for it
- Zalthea says “You look like the type who would try some things” M responds with “some things, sure”
- Zalthea asks M if she wants to stick around for tonight, adding maybe K too, that they could have some real fun later and starts flexing in the water
- M says she’s afraid she can’t stay for too much longer as they have somewhere to be, Zalthea responds “Shame..” and tilts her head back, looking up at the ceiling and K blushes
- M says she does know where to find her though, Zalthea confirms that she does frequent the baths and M says she can see why
- Zalthea points to the east room with her thumb saying “That’s my room, when I’m around, you two definitely come by” M says she’ll keep that in mind and gives her a wink and Zalthea cracks her knuckles as M turns to walk back down to the changing rooms, the rest of the group following behind
- Once they are in the changing room, M tries to shake off the stress with a sharp exhale and says “She is terrifying”
- B says they should have let him fight her and K says that they don’t want to cause any problems, M clarifies that it’s not that she doesn’t want to cause any problems, but that she doesn’t want to encounter any problems
- Everyone gets back into their gear and heads out of the changing rooms and into the main room where Garrin runs over to G and hands her a piece of paper saying if she ever wants to hang out, that’s where he lives
- Once they are outside and out of earshot M mentions that that could be a good way to try and get some info
- X pokes her head out of the doorway as the gang walk away and points to M, asking if she could speak to her for a moment and gestures for her to enter. M agrees, shooting a few quick glances at the group to say to not go too far as X says “excellent” almost as if it were a purr
- B leans against the wall by the door
- X asks M if she has met her before as she leans in, taking a close look at M with a genuine curiosity and completely non threateningly
- M stops to try and think if she has come across X before but it not finding any memories of her
- X continues “You… there’s something different about you” and steps quite close to M, close enough to get a good whiff of her perfume and to feel the heat from her body and says “Be careful tonight, will you do that for me?” looking M dead in the eyes
- M says she might, if X tells her what she’s being careful of, X says “I think you already know, but I just want you to promise to be careful” M says she will do her best and X says “Good girl”
- X stands up straight and continues “I’m serious though, be careful. I’m not going to help you tonight” and M asks “What about tomorrow night? X says “We’ll see” and turns to head back up the stairs
- M walks out to join the rest of the group, B stares at her intently
- M says she’s worried she might know her from her “previous life” K asks if she felt like X had any ill intent, M stops to think (insight 15) and picks up more of a flirty vibe, more intense than how she saw X being playfully flirty earlier, but feels no ill intent, more that it seemed she actually cared about her wellbeing
- M tells the group she feels like it was coming from a genuine place of care and that she seems to be aware of what’s going on, that she seems like the kind of person who keeps an eye on everything
- M continues saying that she doesn’t think X is bad, and that she could be a useful ally and looks to B saying she’ll make sure he won’t have to deal with her
Walking Through Town and The Pawn Shop
- M starts mumbling to herself as the group walks about how it’s been awhile since she last came to Ravenswood and when she did she never really came into the town center or to the baths, but maybe X could have been at one of the events held by the other nobles of the town then realising she’s talking out loud, quickly apologises to the group
- The gang decide to head to the pawn shop along the way, arriving at a door that says Moon & Sun Appraisals
- They walk in and are greeted by a half elf man who introduces himself as Lazrin, B says he is looking for any weapons he might have, the half elf asks what kind of weapon and B says some kind of sword
- He mumbles something under his breath about “the cursed sword out back” and M’s ears prick up and both she and B demand to know more
- He says it’s really annoying, when you pick it up it talks to you, M asks what it says and he says it just doesn’t stop talking, commenting about everything that’s going on
- B asks what it’s made of, he says he has no idea but if you drag it along the ground it makes flowers
- M asks what would happen if you stabbed someone with it, would they also hear it talking to them, he says probably not and B asks if flowers would erupt out of them
- M asks if anyone is up for some experimentation and B asks how much it is, Lazrin says he made a bad deal for it and he’s want to get the 50 gold back and B tried to convince him to give it to him for free because no one would want to buy it so he’d be doing him a favour by taking it off his hands
- M says she just wants to know what happens if you stab someone with it and if anyone would let her try
- Lazrin asks if he can at least give him 20 gold for it, G rolls her eyes and hands the man 20 gold. He explains that if you drag the blade across soil it spawns wild flowers then runs into the back and comes back with the blade completely wrapped in a sheet and places it on the table saying it’s in there
- M looks around to see what’s there, she sees:
- Hide armour that looks like it came from something like a gnoll or hyena
- Some potions
- Some daggers
- A bow
- A ring
- M also notices thieves' cant denoting a thieves' guild
- Lazrin asks M if there’s anything she wants to know more about, she asks if anything has an interesting story
- He tells M about the ring he got from “an unsavoury fella” who told him he was part of a group (of thieves) but he was the only one who couldn’t see in the dark and the ring was able to help him do so. M comments that she couldn’t imagine not being able to see in the dark
- He then points to a red potion saying “someone told me it was a love potion, but it’s not, trust me on that” But that it makes interacting with the upper class easier
- Pointing to the dark blue one he says that it puts you into a deep sleep, M comments that she doesn’t sleep and he says being an elf himself, he can confirm that whoever drinks that potion falls asleep and can’t be physically awakened for one hour and he has tried it himself and says the only thing that could wake you would be one of the dispel magic talismans from The Enchanted Trinket
- M casts a glance at B, knowing how often he casts sleep on people, then asks Lazrinif it works if you throw it at someone, he says they have to drink it and M follows up asking if they have to drink it willingly and he says no
- B asks how much and Lazrin tells him that he gets that one a lot from someone who sells them to him and asks for 2 gold, but says “you know what, you’ve been a fair customer you bought that shitty sword off me, how about 1” and B says he’ll take one, M buys the remaining 2 (Elixir of Deep Slumber)
- Lazrin points to the final green potion and says “Same guy as the ring, if you drink this you can see through magical darkness M asks how much for that one and he says 1 gold, and she decides to take it (Potion of Umbral Clarity)
- B asks about the armour, Lazrin telling him it’s badgers hide, made by a craftsman who came through who said he had killed a giant badger and was able to put some of the power of the badger into the armour, saying when he tried it he was able to dig really well (burrowing speed)
- M asks How much for the bow, he asks for 10 gold, M tries to haggle for 5 (after zombie has a dyscalculia moment and forgot how numbers work) and he asks if she has any cool rocks she could also throw in, M rolls 20 persuasion and he says that he could even do 4 and a cool rock, M says she doesn’t have any cool rocks, but she’ll give him the 5 gold anyway (shortbow of accuracy)
- B splits off from the group, saying he’ll meet them at The Jolly Jackalope after he’s gone to see the Weaponsmith M asks him to see if he can grab any arrows for her and mentions potentially stopping by Genevieve’s to let Althea know what the plan is
At the Forge (Bruzrik)
- B arrives at the Willersby Forge and sees a few apprentices working there, a couple of the younger ones stopping to greet him, he asks the girls if their master is home and they say she’s actually out and ask if they can instead help him
- He says he’s looking to procure some weapons, another girl wearing glasses pokes her head up, asking if he’s put an order in, he says it’s something rather short notice
- Another girl runs off and comes back with a book, asking him what he’s in the market for, he asks for anything inlaid with silver, she asks “like a silver sword?” and he says that would be fantastic
- She says that shouldn’t be too hard and one of the girls asks if she should go check the back, telling B they’ll be just a second
- A couple of the girls go back to working on forging a small piece of metal, B overhearing that they’re trying to infuse some blue into the sword using lapis as a surprise for the master but it’s not really working
- B draws upon the knowledge granted to him by Zaolu to try and give them some advice, rolling 16 int and is able to inform them of a kind of alloy that they could make to achieve that purpose and the girl in glasses starts taking notes
- The two girls come back with two silver swords, one being a great sword and one being a longsword, asking if either works for him and that if he puts an order in they can get him one for tomorrow, he says he will take the longsword
- They ask if he’s staying in town and he says he’s staying at Genevieve's, they say they can just bill it straight there
- They hand him the sword and one of them will come to collect payment tomorrow
- He asks if they also happen to have any shields and she says nothing special, but pulls out a variety of steel shields, saying they could make him a silver one tomorrow and he puts in an order
- B asks if they have any arrows and they say that the master could probably make some up but she’s went to see some bard and puts in an order for some arrows
- He thanks them for the sword and a slightly punky looking kid looks at him and says “you look like you could take the greatsword, why did you go for the longsword?” B replies that he likes to have a free hand in a fight, she tells him she wants to be an adventurer too and B tells her to train hard and heads off
