General Summary

Astraday 23/05/2345 

Genevieve’s 

• M collects herself and tells B he should probably get some rest because he’s had an eventful day
• M hands B a stack of paper envelopes saying they’re her spare lyre strings if he felt like turning them to Zolium too, but no pressure
• B drunkenly walks downstairs almost falls but it caught by mage hand and orb
• M turns to Alaric and says, “I probably shouldn’t you.” He gives her a smile and says “I should be going home. Do you want to talk more? Or do you need some time to yourself?” M says “I wouldn’t say no to some company”
• Alaric takes her by the hand and walks her to her room, pausing outside the door to ask “Do you just want to chat or...” He blushes and gets a little shifty eyed “... Or were you thinking something else?” M says, “Chat and cuddle?”
• Alaric’s face relaxes and he smiles saying “I can do that”

Micarafae’s room 

• M sits on the edge of her bed and seems to sink under the weight of everything but is trying to keep it together.
• Alaric sits on the bed next to her, putting his arms around her and leans his head against hers
• M feels panic welling up inside her, but takes a deep breath and helped by Alaric’s comforting is able to calm herself down (wisdom save 20)
• M looks at Alaric and says “Everything is just so much” Alaric gives her a reassuring squeeze
• M says “It just, it feels like there’s this storm of emotion in my chest that I have been keeping down for so long and it feels like it’s going to burst. I know it’s going to burst.” Alaric holds her gaze and says, “And I don’t suppose this is one of those situations where you can use all of that energy and fire and aim it at the bad guys right?” M says “I think it’s one of those situations that is more likely to do more damage to me than anyone else” Alaric replies “I was afraid you’d say that”
• Alaric looks a little sullen and says “I’m just afraid in all of this, in all I’ve witnessed, I’m doing no good. I’m trying to be there for you all, specifically you, but I’m no fighter, I have very little training. I'm doing what I can here, but I almost feel like something has to change, and if that change leads me to helping you, it’ll be worth it”
• M just starts sobbing, Alaric holds her and guides her into the bed so that her head is on her chest and his arms are around her.
• As she calms down, M notices Alaric softly snoring beside her and decides to stay there with him and leave investigating the brooch and spell research until the morning.
• Closing her eyes as she goes into trance she focuses as hard as she can on going to see Korbus

 

Gwinri (nat 20) 

• G appears in the palace directly in front of Gwenzaline who is standing 20 feet tall with her arms behind her back
• Gwenzaline says “You’ve definitely turned things around, Gwinri” G nods
• Gwenzaline disappears and reappears in front of G, and she can feel this aura of power coming from her and she says “I’ve been saving my magic. I wasn’t sure which one of you would be the more useful champion. You’ve both been tested, not by me, but by life and circumstance, and I think you deserve a little something”
• Gwenzaline tells G to hold out her hands and in her hands a silver glowing globe with some kind of shifting form and hears the ticking of a clock (nat 20 perception) and gets the idea that she is holding a very powerful boon
• Gwenzaline seems to shrink by a foot or so and seems a little more tired after having made it
• She says “I have one more thing for you, an option. Would you rather have me bring Alastros to you much sooner or would you like to begin the path towards becoming more like myself” and shifts into her werewolf form
• G chooses to have Alastros arrive earlier, Gwenzaline raises an eyebrow ever so slightly and reverts back to her Orc form, returning her hands to behind her back
• Gwenzaline says “I have one request of you, if you would allow. You fought some interesting creatures today; would you allow me to extract the knowledge of one of them?” G says yes and Gwenzaline places her hands around G’s head, and she suddenly feels a spherical energy field around her followed by the feeling that she may have forgotten something.
• Gwenzaline raises her hands and condenses the sphere down, seeing a shab in the it, but does not remember what they are (14 history)
• Gwenzaline says “I was very proud of the way you handled yourself in this fight, these creatures were interesting, I think I want one for my maze” and condenses the sphere down further
• Shab marble
• Gwenzaline whistles and the minitaur flies in, kneels in midair and she tell him to put it in the northwestern quadrant, and she wants to see how it fares. The minitaur asks if it will be getting the usual enchantments and she says yes, and it takes the marble and flies away
• Gwenzaline disappears and reappears sitting in her throne and says “Our time is coming to an end Gwrinri, I expended more energy than I expected, and my remaining and my remaining is going to be bring Alastros to you. But we have a little time to chat. Is there anything you would ask of me?”
• G asks how soon Alastros will be there, says she can get him closer, maybe tomorrow
• Says he’s a very capable fighter but makes stupid decisions, G says she got that impression
• Hears a very loud sound like a slowed down tick of a grandfather clock reverberating throughout the temple
• G asks about the gift and what it does, Gwenzaline says it’s something all of her champions should have then in the blink of an eye she’s gone from the throne and at the entrance of the temple, then right in front of G
• Gwenzaline tells her it’s Time Step spell and that even though she is not a magic user, Gwenzaline will allow G to use some of her power to cast it
• G looks at the orb and thanks Gwenzaline
• Things fall away and G feels herself back in her bed but in a dream sitting on a bed back home, holding the orb
• She uses the orb and learns Time Step

Kree (15+7) 

• K arrives outside the citadel beside the river which is now clear water and no longer blood but has bones at the bottom
• Sees lines of all sorts of creatures heading towards the citadel
• Hears a voice behind he asks if she is Kree she says yes
• Sees the demigod Thalarion that she saw before in The Silver Hourglass Bathhouse & Spa after fighting Zalthea
• He gives her a small wooden ornate box; it has a lot of symbols on it that makes her think Minotaur (13 investigation)
• Thalarion says “I was told to give it to you in this form, it’s kind of like a soul key. Our lady is waiting for you” and points to the castle, K thanks him and Thalarion vanishes
• K turns and heads into the castle
• K hears a small child laughing and is almost tripped by a small kid zooming about, the same one that Kallista brought back to life and turned into a baby but now looks to be about 5 (19 dex save)
• Kallista beckons her from the next room and K heads in finding a room she hasn’t been in before. She sees the trident from last time she visited on a table in the corner
• In the center of the room is a large stone table with ritual circles, runes and symbols all over it and the body of Zalthea laid out on it
• Kallista kind of looks upset, K asks if everything is alright, Kallista answers “Did that ingrate give you the thing we need to interrogate her?” K asks if she means the box and holds it up to her
• Kallista says it is and goes to move closer clearly wanting to take it from her hand, but K feels a kind of crackling energy coming from it as Kallista gets closer (arcana 12) Kallista also senses it and says “It’s going to have to be you, not me. He still hasn’t forgiven me”
• K says, “Mind if I ask what happened some other time?” Kallista says they’ll put it on the to do list. K says she’s curious but doesn’t want to dig especially when they’re short on time
• Kallista says “Let’s just say I cannot open that box” K says, “Just tell me what to do” Kallista says “Place a hand on the body, think about the person, that you want to unlock their soul...”
• K pictures Zalthea in her head, remembering how she was a terror in combat but also being rather inappropriate
• The box starts to glow as if under black light and pop open, revealing a key. As well as a keyhole between her “Giants breasts”
• K takes the key and puts into the keyhole and the ethereal energy around her body disappears, as does the key and keyhole
• Zalthea reaches out and swings at K as she comes to, but K is able to jump back in time (15 dex save) and Zalthea asks where she is
• Kallista immediately draws stone up from the ground forming a cage around Zalthea then looks at K and says “I do apologise for Thalarion and his theatrics, but this is how we have to do it when he brings a soul in and doesn’t want me to process it. I assume you have some questions?” K says yes and Kallista steps back, forming a chair from stone underneath her
• Kallista asks K “Before we begin, do you want to be comfortable?” K says, “If I may” and stone rises up behind her, forming a comfortable looking chair with space for her wings in the back and K gives a bow of thanks to Kallista then takes a seat
• K asks if Zalthea remembers her, Zalthea narrows her eyes, and says she was the sexy one who refused her
• After K asks a question a little Will-o'-Wisp appears and floats over Althea head
• K asks what she remembers of her mission Zalthea’s eyes scrunch up as she strains to remember and says “I was supposed to be in charge of the portal, we were bringing in specialists, I was in charge of moving the army through Ravenswood” (nat 1 history)
• Another Will-o'-Wisp starts to float above her head, K tries to think what might be going on with the Will-o'-Wisps and isn’t sure exactly but thinks if enough of them so up then Kallista can claim the soul (12 religion)
• K asks where the other end of the portal/s are
• Zalthea says “Well, there’s obviously the one portal underground, that’s the base of operations, but there’s also the other one we were working on, it needed work, Lunae’s going to have to finish it now”
• A third Will-o'-Wisp appears above her head
• K asks, “Who are the specialists and what do they specialise in?”
• Zalthea says “Well, there’s the rock holder, there’s the toxin man, or the machine lord?” obviously struggling to remember (nat 1 history)
• K asks about machine lord, Zalthea says “I only met him once, he’s a one man army, he deploys and the magic, it does something, he put it in a village, within a few days he left village followed by a bunch of automatons, metal men, metal women, metal children, metal dogs, metal cows, metal chickens...” She shakes her head and another Will-o'-Wisp appears above her as they all start to descend on her
• K asks where the main base is, a final, larger Will-o'-Wisp appears and Kallista sits up in her chair
• Zalthea says “We will be clearing out more underground space, new bases, traps, not sure which one is going to be which, base of operations moving, but now beneath The Ravenswood Arena of Valor”
• Kallista says “the sporting arena?” then stands up and walks over to K, leans in and says “I don’t think that’s the place you guys fought your little monsters”
• Zalthea poofs into light mote that floats over to Kallista who snatches it between her fingers, brings it to her lips and swallows it and says, “This soul was expired anyway” and K thanks Kallista for help
• Kallista says “I wanted to help in a different way but of course Thalarion had to “flex” as the young ones would say” K says “We can’t always get everything as easy as we’d like it”
• Kallista looks annoyed and says, “I don’t know why the demigods are able to roam freely and all of us are chained to our home dimensions” K says “Because they know only your power could rival his”
• Kallista says “Let me tell you girl, if I were free, it would do more than rival”
• Kallista’s demeanour changes and she says, “I have another gift for you” K asks if there’s anything she can do in return and Kallista says “not this time. Well, actually, I would really like to talk to that girl who’s been finding ways to sends souls my way” K gets the feeling she’s talking about Lunae, but it could also be Jineyih? (10 insight)
• The trident on the table rises, turning so that it’s vertical and then snaps into Kallista’s hand who then twirls it.
• In her other hand an orb appears like the one K got previously, but this one looks like obsidian with black and purple colours to it and Kallista says “In here is a spell, it’s not the most powerful one but I think it would help you in your endeavours”
• Kallista then extends her arm, holding out the trident and says “This is the same trident as before, it’s The Trident of Shadow Spores. You may choose one, I do love choices!”
• K asks Kallista to tell her about the spell (10 persuasion)
• Kallista says “This will let you use a little bit of my power when you attack with your weapons, specifically melee weapons. I wish I could give you both, but alas, I cannot”
• K says, “I wish not to be greedy in your presence” Kallista says “Oh trust me, I’d give them both to you girl”
• Kallista looks wistfully at K and says “Don’t take this the wrong way but I appreciate you need me.” K says “All the help we can get” Kallista smiles and says “Yes. You know, your counterpart, I gave him one gift and he’s run with it, made it his own somehow. I don’t know what he did or how he did it, but believe it or not, I can’t bring him here unless I really used all my power to do so, and I don’t really feel like harming myself to make his presence come to me” K says it doesn’t sounds like a good trade
• Kallista says “No but if he ever needs a good talking to, I will. Anyway, back to you. What do you choose?”
• Goop stick
• K can see a dark orange and black lightning bolt bouncing around inside the orb and sees etchings of spores on the trident, as well as a scratching of a small demonic creature with an impish grin on the base of the shaft (16 perception)
• K says “I wish not to directly take much more of your power, so I will gladly accept the trident”
• The orb vanishes from her hand and affixes itself to her belt
• As K grabs the trident the shadowy ichor that was emanating from the stop and Kallista says “Oh that was just for show, I wanted you to pick this one” and gives K a wink
• As K is holding it the whole shaft lights up in spore like patterns and the little carving also glows. Kallista says “Our time is fleeting, and I fear there’s no more time, use this well and I hope your new friend won’t be too annoying”
• K appears back in her bed

Bruzrik  

• B appears on the floating island, sees the mechanical squirrel on a rock waving at him. He is no longer drunk, and Zaolu’s Crucible and his mage hand are there with him
• B walks towards the mechanical squirrel who immediate runs and hops on to a mechanical fox and the two of them lead him to Zaolu’s workshop
• B remembers how to open the door and walks inside to see Zaolu, who has a mechanical backpack with multiple arms, surrounded by at least a dozen perfect cubes of varying metals
• Zaolu calls him over says “You kicked some ass today!” B bows his head and Zaolu says there’s no need for that
• B approaches his worktable and Zaolu says “I was going to make you something pretty cool, but I kind of got distracted with the idea of creating something new, but it seems like I’m missing a couple ingredients, actually, from your world. You know, I could just use a dozen Luna Poppies and, you’re from Crossroads, yes?” B says he is and Zaolu continues “Right, I knew that. You must know of that great big, bright, golden flower, grows really high in the mountains”
• B remembered it’s called the Aurach Thornblossom but little else (6 history)
• Zaolu continues “It’s a very interesting plant; it has so many different alchemical properties. I hear its highly sort after in your world for those who know of its existence. I’ve heard it only blooms once every 3 years or so. Anyway, if you could get me a few petals of that and a dozen Luna Poppies I think I could make something special, so keep an eye out. But enough of that, come come come”
• Zaolu puts an arm around B and ushers him towards a table and takes a seat alongside B and asks “Wine, rum or beer?” B says wine
• Zaolu manifests some wine and says, “it’s not the good stuff” and proceeds to pour them each a glass before saying “Cheers to today, boy” and they clink glasses
• Zaolu says “I’ve been working on something, I’m really glad you’re actually here. How do you feel about tattoos?” B says, “It’s rather difficult for me to get them, considering, you know...” and taps his scales
• Zaolu says “Don’t worry about that, not when it’s me” B says he has no qualms against them
• Zaolu says “I really do like when I’m able to work on something just fun, you know. I’m not going to lie to you Bruzrik, someone’s been killing the champions, they haven’t been lasting long enough to meet, let alone talk, let alone receive some of our magic. The Magic keeps returning to us every time they die”
• B recalls M having mentioned that Korbus told her that his girls keep dying
• Zaolu continues “Listen, I have a few things, but I can’t give you all of them. I’ve got the magical tattoo, I think it’s pretty neat. I’ve also had you in mind for a few little things, but I haven’t made them yet, so really, I want you to just pick, you’ll have three spell options or the tattoo which I’ve already fully crafted and just need to apply”
• B asks what the tattoo does and Zaolu says “I call it The Clawshot Sigil. What it does is, you would be able to manifest and shoot out a chain with a claw at the end and it would dig into your enemies and pull them towards you. I remember in one of the first fights I was able to witness of yours, you tend to use enemies to throw at other enemies and I was thinking, “What is the easiest way to get an enemy into your hands?” Well, you shoot them with a clawshot and it zips back to you, and there you go! I mean, it has other purposes, but that’s the one I had in mind”
• B asks about the other spells and Zaolu says “I had a few ideas, one I would say is in the school of evocation, the other one an enchantment, but a very unique one, borrowed a little of Gwenzaline’s ideas with time, anyway. And the last one is a little bit of divination, something to avoid attacks”
• B decides to go with the tattoo
• Zaolu looks a little tired and starts to relax, leaning back in his chair and pulls out a pipe
• B taps his claws against the table, staring at Zaolu who looks back at him and says, “We’re just hanging out, what’s up?”
• B says, “I believe you mentioned something about helping me build a tracker” Zaolu says “Oh yeah! Man, I really did get carried away, didn’t I?” looking over at the pile of cubes
• Zaolu asks B to remind him what he needs and B says he needs to be able to the girl who got taken, who is also a champion.
• Zaolu tries to remember her name and B suddenly feels very warm before Zaolu says “Ah yes, the young lizard girl, Skylla” (insight 10)
• Zaolu mumbles to himself about the best way to track her before getting up and wandering into a massive storage room
• The mechanical fox and squirrel come into the workshop and start playing with the crucible and mage hand while he’s away searching
• Zalou come out and hand B a necklace with a 17-sided star roughly the same size as a Human fist, The 17th point is able to slide around as if a pointer, but it seems like there is something missing in the middle
• Zalou says “There’s something I can’t replicate here that you’re going to have to find on your end” B asks What that is and Zaolu says it’s easy enough, he just has to find something that belongs to the person he wants to look for, B says that’s doable
• Zaolu says “What’s not doable is me making another one of those” B wonders if it’s a one-time use thing (nat 1 perception)
• Zaolu looks solemn and says “I made this before we were cast away, back when I wasn’t stuck here, I don’t think I’ve stepped foot on your world in many millennia. So, don’t lose it, that one’s mine”
• B says he will guard it with his life and Zaolu says “You know, if I were to be free, I could make a dozen of those, and I would call that Tuesday, but here, that would probably take another few millennia. And I don’t have the time to just do that. I get distracted too easily” B says he can tell
• The ear springs off the fox and Zaolu sighs, walks over to the fox and puts the ear back on saying “You know I used to be alone here, I made all these things that you see, and it makes things better”
• B lets out a big sigh and says he knows what it feels like to be alone. Zaolu puts a hand on his shoulder and says “I know”
• They feel the ground shatter a little bit underneath them and Zaolu says he has used a lot of power today
• B says, “Before I have to go, I have one more favour to ask of you” and pulls out the wrapped-up sword the took from Nekros. Zaolu waves his hand over it and asks, “Why have you brought this here?” almost seeming disgusted at its presence
• B says “I can’t let it return to its master's hand, but I can’t also guard it at all times. Can you lock this away here, so that he can’t get it back?” Zaolu says “Lock it away?” Extends his hand and a gust of wind pushes a curtain aside, revealing a large oval containing what seems like an infinite void of green flame. Zaolu continues “Cast it in and destroy it. I can keep it here if you wish, but I don’t want to”
• B asks if that won’t return the power to Skurth. Zaolu says “It would release the power, but the sword itself would be gone, and the connecting ring” B asks what ring and Zaolu says “Well, how do you think one would control the person with the sword. Do you have the ring?”
• B has a vague memory of seeing Nekros briefly fiddle with a ring on his hand when they met (13 history)
• B says “I don’t have the ring, but I know who does” Zaolu says “Well, you could use this, but I would warn you, whoever touches this will be bound to do whatever the ring bearer says. You destroy this here and you will destroy the sword and the ring, but the energy will be sent back to Skurth for him to use”
• B asks if Skurth could make another sword like that, Zaolu says “He could yes, but I know him, to an extent and I don’t think he’d make the same thing twice. One thing I will tell you, and I’m pretty sure your friend would be interested to hear, he doesn’t fully work through his champions. What do you know of Skurth?”
• B says “I know his eyes don’t glow...” Zaolu interrupts him and says “Do you know why his eyes don’t glow?” B asks if he used to be mortal and Zaolu replies “No, he’s got a nifty little ability, he can possess other people. It would give him away if his eyes glowed, wouldn’t it? I’m not saying that’s the reason but it’s definitely annoying”
• Zaolu seems to be getting angry and says “He used to be the most cordial with Korbus, before the betrayal. The one he hated the most was Iuxta, and let me tell you, he’s the one who’s probably the reason we’re all still trapped. I don’t think he’s the one who trapped us here, no. He’s not the smart, he’s not that strong but my god is he probably the one to be killing all the other champions of all the other gods”
• B asks if he is free and Zaolu says “No, none of us a free, I can feel it. If he was the only one free in the world, nothing would save you.” The starts mumbling about how maybe if all the demigods teamed up maybe they’d have a chance before shaking it off and says “But regardless...” he is interrupted by the ground starting to shake again and he continues “Bruzrik, you gotta go. Are you leaving the sword with me? What do you want?”
• B says he wants Nekros to think it’s still in play and he can then use want he knows now to his advantage and quickly studies the sword, trying to memorise what it looks like (18 investigation & 13 history)
• B looks back to Zaolu and says “I need to keep this whole, I have an idea and it will only work if Nekros still has the ring”
• B feels his head getting a little warm again and can tell that Zaolu has a way to be able to see into his thoughts (18 insight)
• Zaolu says “Use the forge, you’ll probably be able to do it” and B hands the sword over to him and says “Once I defeat its wielder, then we can destroy it”
• Zaolu tells him to have fun storming the castle and B says he always does and gets a smile of approval in return

Micarafae 

• M feels an intense heat and takes 10 damage as she finds herself being pulled into an ever-burning forest (charisma 21)
• M looks around to see if she can spot any landmarks but can’t see anything past the burning forest around her
• She has a vague sense of where she should head but isn’t entirely sure and decides to head that way
• M hears a piercing screech, she recognises it as Xinny but has never heard her make this particular sound before
• M makes her way out of the forest to find the titanic body of Korbus lying on the ground, covering hundreds over meters of the area
• His body has streams of golden ichor flowing from various parts of his body.
• M walks closer to him and tries to figure out what’s going on (20 medicine) and is able to discern that he is bleeding from what looks a wound from a musket ball that shredded into shrapnel and exited the body and that’s where the golden blood is coming from
• Xinny is flying concerned circles above as M walks around to his face to check if he is conscious, noting that he doesn’t seem to be
• M decides to try stabbing him with a healing arrow, unsure if it will actually do anything but it’s worth a try
• She stabs it into him and his eyes open, the arrow dissipates and Korbus groans. The ground shakes as he tries to roll over and try to push himself up. The bleeding stops and the blood runs back into his body as he stretches, cracking his neck
• Korbus says “Y’know kiddo, I shouldn’t have done this. Sorry about your arrow, it didn’t do anything” He falls back to sit on the ground and says “You know Xinny really wanted to see you” He winces and cracks his neck again before saying “Remind me not to do that again”
• M gives him a slight nod and Korbus says “Thing is, kiddo, we can bring you here whenever we want, but it’s not like the old days when I would snap my fingers and any mortal I want to me, it really takes it out of me”
• M just stands there silent, emotionally drained and feeling guilty that he harmed himself for her sake and is feeling guilty and doesn’t know what to say. Korbus is able to read that on her face (20 insight) and says “Don’t feel bad, you want your gift? We’ve been dying to give it to you” M says she would like that
• Korbus says “You’re a good kid” as he starts to shrink himself back down tot he size M is used to seeing him as, the trees that had been knocked over by his colossal form righting themselves as he does and M notices that she no longer feels the intense heat she did before
• He opens his hand to reveal what looks to be liquid metal in the shape of a young bird, a young phoenix, is glowing gold, orange and red and he puts it down in front of her
• The creature hops towards M, tilting it’s head a few times and chirps melodically at her then hops around her as she bends down and hols her hand out, finding it very warm to the touch
• Korbus says “So, this little being doesn’t have a name yet, but we decided to put our power together, for quite a few days actually, months, was it a year? Well we put our heads together for quite a long time and I was able to get Xinny’s idea through and I had a little dabble in there. I mean, I think even Zaolu would be proud of this one”
• M is just watching the creature with a smile and taking in the cuteness as it seems really like her
• Korbus says “Why don’t you play a tune? Play me a song.” and M replies “This one is something I’m still working on, it needs a bit of polish, but I figured it’s appropriate for the moment” and takes out her lyre. Korbus says “Kiddo, you can always practice with me”
• M starts playing a song she started working on years ago and never finish about a Phoenix. The creature itself starts to change shape
• Korbus says “Your beautiful playing has made it go into it’s echo weaver form” it becomes slightly translucent and Korbus adds “I wanted to send you something to help you fight, and I’ve never had a bard before, I guess.” M says “There’s a first for everything”
• The creature begins to change shape again becoming more lyre like in appearance and Korbus says “You’ve just activated its lyre form” then he leans in and says “You should try different instruments. Not now, I don’t know how much time you’re going to have with me, kinda used it up bringing you here”
• M says she will be able to get her hands on a piano tomorrow and Korbus says that would be interesting
• M asks Korbus if she can show him something, he says sure and she pulls out a notebook, showing him a sketch she did and explains “So, I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to do with the ring, and I figured I got a chance at a new life, it makes sense that it gets a chance at a new life too, something of a rebirth, if you will” Korbus chuckles at her pun and studies the sketch

• Korbus says “You trust me to do this? Don’t you have a friend who’s Zaolu’s champion” M says “That’s what I was going to, specifically because the enchantments on it are, troubling to think about. Honestly trying not to” Korbus asks “Troubling how?”
• M says “I think Moritha said there were three on it, one was a tracking type thing, the other was to prevent the enchantments from being removed and I don’t remember the third. But I do remember it always kind of felt weird, I remember taking it off and feeling like there had been a shadow watching me, following me, and it wasn’t there anymore” Korbus indeed looks troubled and asks “What can I do kiddo?”
• M asks “About the ring, or in general?” Korbus gives her a soft smile and says “In general”
• M says “I have two things to ask, one can be left for another day...” He says “We’ll see, go ahead” and M continues “The other champions, the ones who cam before me, will you tell me about them one day?” Korbus looks really sad and says “Yes, one day” before collecting himself again
• M says “I think they deserve to be remembered” Korbus says “Id like that. What’s your other question?”

• M asks “What can you tell me about Skurth? And specifically, I want to know what colour his eyes are.” Korbus says “That rat bastard? No offense to Zaolu. His eyes are green, but you wanna know how you can really tell who the real Skurth is, one of his eyes has a gold sliver in it, normally his left one. I don’t actually know if he can move it from his left to his right, but he can’t get rid of the gold sliver. It’s real small, you can only see it if you’re face to face. Green eyes, gold sliver, usually in the left.”
• M tried what colour Nekros’ eyes are and remembers that Nekros does have green eyes, but does not recall if there was a gold sliver. (23 history)
• Korbus says “He can grant his followers a few things, invisibility, the ability to not be tracked by magical or divine means, one of his most annoying ones is he can make multiples of himself, really annoying, and actually one of his really cool abilities is he can instantly make clothes appear, anything he wills, and poof, he’s wearing a different outfit. Kinda wish I had that”
• M says “Handy skill” and Korbus replies “Yeah, well, they gave it to the asshole so...” M says “They always do” and Korbus adds “Oh, also, poison, anything he touches he can turn to poison. So those things are kinda his deal, but I got to admit lately, he’s been experimenting, as much as we all are nowadays” M asks him to elaborate
• Korbus says “Well much like me dabbling in Zaolu’s realm a little bit, making you the elemental, or is it Nayamayi, I can’t remember. Well, anyway. What I’m trying to say is, he’s been trying to make magic weapons and things that are a little outside his purview so they’re not as strong as if he gave something invisibility or possession, y’know?” M nods and Korbus continues “I haven’t tried that too much, except for, y’know” and points to the excited creature nuzzling against M’s legs.
• Korbus says “Pretty proud of that guy, or girl, I’m not sure. Xinnalestra! Ah, forget it”
• M says “I feel like I should ask for information, but I keep coming back to the question of, how much do you see?” Korbus says “You mean in your day to day?” M says “Yeah and I guess also, can you see my memories, or thoughts, or...”
• Korbus says “Well, with permission, I could probably see most of your history, yes. Anything I need to glean I can sometimes get off the surface of your memory, but for the day to day, it takes a lot of energy to pay attention. Usually if you guys do something fantastic, or use some of our power in such a way, it’s almost like a beacon and I can kinda tune in. Sometimes I can even talk to you, and it helps if you’re holding The Ash Song. It’s almost like a little bit of a conduit, makes it easier. I think it goes for all of your friends to be honest”
• M looks a little solemn and Korbus goes to reach out to her but a giant wall of fire blazes for the realm, not effecting anything but M, hitting her and carrying her out of the realm.
• M is thrown out of her bed and across the room, taking 10 damage and producing a loud crash that wakes up people in the rooms around her
