The Party

Ella

Ella is an aasimar cleric in her late 20s, and is not the best role model for the kids.
  • Ella is not on good terms with her angelic guide, Temperance. Temperance wants Ella to go back to school, work harder, and party less.
  • Ella was supernaturally directed to find and help a sick child, and then to forcefully dissuade a quack who'd sold the child's parents fake medicine. This may have had something to do with Eta.

Ella's things:

  • A spellwrought tattoo which says "Live, laugh, liquefy" that provides a one-time use of the Vitriolic Sphere spell
  • +1 chainmail armor that can be changed into a cape or back using a bonus action. Also provides +1 to comfort and +2 to style.
 

Kurt

A 24 year old half-elf swashbuckler who definitely keeps everything above board.
  • Kurt went to a church, passed a test, received an amulet, and now serves Iota.
  • Kurt found a magic sword. The sword is paired with another magic item. The bearers of the two magic items always know each other's rough locations. The previous owner of the other magic item was a cleric of old, but somebody killed him and took the counterpart item.
  • Kurt met with a man named Peter, and did some stuff for him.

Kurt's things:

  • A +1 rapier (technically a side sword, a closely related type of sword) with a really dark gray blade. The blade blends in to the point of disappearing when in dim or dark light. It deals 1 extra damage when used in dim or dark light, and people trying to see the wielder do not benefit from darkvision
  • 1 greater healing potion
  • Studded leather armor (but with drip)
 

Kali

A twenty year old tiefling with plenty of eldritch power, but not quite as much wordly experience.
  • The silver knight seemed to recognize Kali's equipment, and told Kali to think back on her childhood experiences. She also said something about a frog, and showed Kali how to better use her crystal
  • Kali followed a memory related to a bank, and found that that bank had a small savings account in her name, but few records as to how the account got there. There was also a memory about a frog plushie.
  • Kali remembered being carried by an unknown individual while the frog plushy being destroyed in a big fire.
  • Kali met with her brother, Bathin. Some of Bathin's professors looked at Kali.
    • Several professors attempted to see what they could discover relating to Kali, but most of what they found was inconclusive.
    • Professor Spirit, a psionic warforged or 'psiforged,' was forged in a lab several centuries ago. When she first woke, she encountered someone who resembled the Silver Knight. This person, who had slain the people inside the lab, led Spirit out of the lab before destroying it. Spirit has been unable to find anything else about this person.
    • Gorguk could be seen through a mirror of true seeing in one professor's lab. The professor shared that he'd once purchased a plushy that resembles Gorguk.
  • Kali went to the Glittergem Workshop, a toy store run by a gnome named Wrenn Glittergem. About 15 years ago, Wrenn made a limited series of 100 frog plushies that all matched Gorguk and Kali's memory of the frog plushy. Wrenn found that the 97th frog was missing from his records, and he could not remember who he had sold it to.

Kali's things:

  • Kali's crystal: This crystal is evidently capable of storing memories and attuning to a person. Some of the memories within are inaccessible.
  • A wand of scowls
  • Cuddly Cantor Academy Mascot: A little plushy of Georg the goat, the mascot of the Cantor Academy's scribe order. If you press it to your arm, shoulder, or leg as an action, the toy stays attached there for 1 hour or until you use an action to remove it. The toy can also be used to fight off fear. When you make a saving throw to avoid or end the frightened condition on yourself, you can give yourself advantage on the roll if the toy is on your person. You must decide to do so before rolling the d20. If the save succeeds, you can't use the toy in this way until you finish a long rest.
  • 2 greater healing potions
 

Things:

  • Nate, the portable cabin. When there are no living creatures within the cabin, speaking a command phrase causes it to quickly shrink down to the size of a book. The cabin can be re-expanded by repeating the command phrase, but the cabin takes 10 minutes to "inflate." Furniture stored within the cabin stays there until the cabin is re-expanded. Upon expanding, the cabin is automatically camouflaged to match his surroundings. The cabin is capable of communicating with its inhabitants, and is capable of keeping track of supplies, detecting intruders, and various other minor tasks.
  • Black and white draft horse named Carrot, along with a wagon.

  • (Temporarily) resurrected crazed rat that managed to get into a stash of drugs. In between some of its mad, incomprehensible ramblings, the rat seemed to make comments related to the party, although it might have just been tripping. Some of the rat's ramblings include:
    • And, as I watched, the stone broke the great seal, and a great black serpent rose from the sea. Its name is the world serpent, it is going to eat Temperance, it loves chocolate, and its victory is inevitable.
    • You seem like the type of people to consider abandoning a scared teenager, get in a fist fight with a sheep, then get killed by me, heralding the dawn of a new age where I lead my rat kin to overthrow your civilization. If anybody gets a crit, I am going to yell "Nat 20, bitches!"
    • If you shit in the sink at exactly 4:20 am and yell "amogus" 69 times, a shadowy figure called mom will come to beat you up and you will wake up in a place called an orphanage

Quests:

  • Go into a pirate base, retrieve Ander's silphium, and rescue the drow prisoners there (done), in exchange for 600 gp.
  • Get Dust home. He said he will pay 100 platinum (1000 gp) to each of the party members in exchange for help with this.
