Personal history

He was the second born to Amadore Sand. He was born during the worst storm the South East had ever seen. Instead of crying when he was born he screamed the deepest, most demonic scream anyone had ever heard. The midwives immediately got on their knees and prayed, one even passed out and didn't wake up for 13 days. Within an hour of his birth five entire families died. At the age of 1, he was already causing trouble. He punched his older sister so hard that his fist went right through her stomach and he ate the family cat. When he was 3, he told his younger sister to stand by the tree and said if she moved then the family would die. He went inside and positioned himself at a window facing the tree, grabbed his bow and arrow and used her as a target, resulting in her death. Three years later he sent his 3 year old brother, Cynthius, out into the desert, saying their mother was lost out there and dying. Cynthius Sand was never seen again. Last but not least, Sami Sand. Sami actually made is to the age of 5 before having his jaw ripped off, his tongue cut out, all his nails removed and then having his tongue and nails shoved down his throat so he couldn't breathe. Dorcan was 10 when this event took place. When he was 5 took a knife to his fathers eye because he wanted to see what a cut up eye would look like in someones head. Amadores eye was fine but a massive scar remained. He laughed it off as "boys being boy" and Dorcan being a "curious and intelligent young man". When his father died, he immediately took advantage of his power. He made it legal to practise black magic and silenced anyone who spoke out against him by cutting out their tongue. This is still a punishment House Sand give out to this day. He sent people out to travel further West to make a new town. Leading the group was Charlie Ritta Litta Smitta. One year later, the group returned, saying they could not possibly live their and that the place was home to demons. He locked them all in a small room for 2 weeks with no food and hardly any water. He then sent them back out and told them that they WILL live their and make no complaints. They did but families died, making the population very small and leading to incest which is why so many people in martell are disabled.
