Cult of Jon the Divine

Divine Origins

In 1472, Jon "the risen" Sprinklage was killed in a freak explosion, likely by his own hand. He became a ghost and was only able to be seen by those who knew him. The following year, in 1473, Jon was resurrected and mortal once again. Although known as "Jon the Risen" by many who knew him, as sect quickly emerged, made up of many different species of mortals and other creatures, and these people knew him as "Jon the Divine". Although his resurrection can be attributed to a curse placed on him by the king of the goblins, the sect believed it was with the use of his own powers and than he was a divine deity, resurrecting himself for the purpose of enlightening the people of Pentos with knowledge of death, upcoming wars, and how we must live our lives according to the teachings and knowledge of Jon.   The sect also worship various associates of Jon, dubbing them his "disciples". His disciples include: Eddard Mormont, Bessie 'the barmaid' Barmoid and Duncan Sand.
