Session 25: F***ing Mag-|nets|-ics, how do they work?
General Summary
- In the city of Spyrys, we engage against the fiends in battle.
- We set the house with the basement ablaze to draw out the enemies

- 3 mosquito demons (Chasme)
- The battle starts with one humanoid fiend and two mosquito fiends, emerging from the house opposite from the house ablaze.
- The fiend charms Krathag at the start of the battle and causes massive havoc
- Triple taps Luna
- Daz attempts to get Luna up
- As the charm wore off and Krathag come to his senses of what he was forced to do, Krathag, in unparalleled fury, pulverizes the humanoid fiend into a heap of flesh
- Skorpa smites a Chasme with the aid of Miranro
- A third Chasme emerges from the flaming house and surprises Daz, incapacitating him
- Chasmes deals in heavy piercing damage and even heavier necrotic damage
- Necrotic damage reduces maximum HP temporarily
- 0 Temporary hp results in permanent death

- Still in the heat of unbridled wrath, Krathag tanks a hit directly from a Chasme. With the aid of Elgin’s Bardic Inspiration, Krathag rolls a 25 in a contest of strength and athletics. Krathag successfully breaks off the nose piece of the Chasme attacking him and hurls the weapon like a makeshift javelin at the third Proboscis
- Daz gets a DM inspiration for rp
- Miranro bashes the 3rd Chasme
- The 2nd Chasme flees into the burning building to escape back into the Portal located in the basement. Miranro follows to halt their escape
- Krathag grabs the potion that was found in the infested Bag of Holding and gently feeds it to Luna
- Skorpa manhandles Daz and grabs his flask and forcefully feeds it to Daz
- Also heals with lay on hands
- Through sheer creativity and with no external recommendations whatsoever, the road underneath the party collapses due to accumulated heat exhaustion in the basement area.
- Krathag and Daz rolled a successful evasion
- Luna, Skorpa, and Elgin take fall damage
- In the midst of evading the fall, Daz in drunken stupor haphazardly throws his Bone Knife at the remaining Chasme
- Dealt the killing blow, Miranro perceives a slight warping of the Chasme body melding into the bone knife
- As a fervent advocate of anti-magic, and angry from the kill stolen from him, Miranro grabs this weird dagger. The portal in front of him, shimmering in all its magicness, seems a bit sketch.

- Elgin passes Miranro the Immovable Rod
- Miranro sticks the rod into the portal, it too slowly sinks
- The rod is later activated and now stuck in place

- We tie rope from the hilt of the dagger to Krathag and have him lean in place. We momentarily take a rest within this partially flaming wreckage.
