Flame of Moradin
High ranking priests of Children of the Inferno take on the title "Flame of Moradin". This symbolizes their sacred intent to spread the worship of Moradin and his holy cleansing of body and soul. This designation is earned through devotion, and held for the recipient's lifetime.
In the end, all things burn brightly in Moradin's purifying blaze.New Flames are tattooed thoroughly with images of twisting flames. Over time, their hair turns black as smoke.
Qualifications
To prove their purity of body and soul, a prospective Flame must be able to weather the heat of the River of Creation for an extended period of time. The longer the exposure, the greater the dwarf's purity.
Additionally, they must conduct extensive research into the writings of Sacred Fire theology and understand the inherent falsehoods behind other competing sects of Moradinism.
Appointment
A new Flame of Moradin must physically mar a part of their body by touching the River of Creation directly. The resulting scars or missing limbs are worn as badges of pride and position.
