Ashen Ascension

One of many religious organizations which follow an aspect of Moradin. Ashen Ascension focuses on the rebirth and creation inspired by the River of Creation on Dheg Lhodar.

Divine Origins

Two core faiths were born from two unique interpretations of the River of Creation. Children of the Inferno arose from observation of the sheer destructive power of the River, while Ashen Ascension grew from the miracle of creation it provided. The River's metallic components could be transformed into great and wondrous armor and weaponry, and the heat from the River was enough to replace a forge. With these at their beck and call, dwarves were able to create and survive in ways the rest of Pendent could not.
Beyond the River, fires were also seen as agents of rebirth. From the flames of its death, a phoenix would rise from its ashes. Forests return after a firestorm in better health than before the fire.

Tenets of Faith

Through life, there is pain. Through our pain, we are reborn. Through our rebirth, we flourish.
Cherish what is lost. Without loss, we cannot grow.
