Session XII & XIII

Having sought wisdom from the crystal and decided a course of action, the Defenders with Ivan Harper aka Finnian heading out in front departed for the Underdark to find their newest friend, Sharamin Fastdew.

After some time in descent, the party arrived at a huge underground lake where they expertly dispatched a slumbering giant and a small team of Drow guards. Following this, the Defenders tracked Finnian's footsteps through the mysteriously destroyed outlying Drow ruins for some time towards the stronghold of Nylathsera, where he and the halfling were being held.

Some cunning decisions posing as a slain Drow officer and a set of captured slaves saw the team easily infiltrate the main stronghold. Some time later after poisonings, murders, and more than a few close calls, the Defenders were ultimately freed by their own cunning efforts. Killing the so-called "Moon Queen" and escaping under the keep during a massive Illithid attack, the team eventually worked their way stealthily through the southern end of the Drow city, through the expansive stretch of the Underdark, and arrived back in Elbrand with Sharamin and Finnian in tow.
