Jennifer Gabrielle Dayye (a.k.a. Jenny)
Jennifer "Jenny" Dayye was born on November 11, 1995, in the small town of Medford, Oregon. The daughter of an astrophysicist and a high school science teacher, Jenny's childhood was filled with stargazing, science experiments, and endless questions about the universe. Her parents' love for science ignited a similar passion in Jenny, who dreamt of exploring the cosmos from a very young age.
Excelling academically, Jenny attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on a full scholarship, where she earned her degree in Aerospace Engineering. After graduation, she was recruited by NASA and quickly rose through the ranks due to her exceptional skills, determination, and love for space exploration.
In 2018, Jenny was selected for a solo manned expedition to orbit Jupiter. This was a dream come true for her, but little did she know that this expedition would forever change her life. As her spacecraft approached Jupiter, it was hit by an unexpected cosmic storm. The storm activated Jenny's dormant Meta genes, endowing her with the ability to fly, survive in the vacuum of space, emit cosmic energy, and manipulate gravity.
These newfound abilities were instrumental in saving her life in the decimated spacecraft and enabled her to return to Earth. Upon her return, Jenny was hailed as a hero, and her miraculous survival story made headlines worldwide. However, she chose to keep her Meta-Human abilities a secret from the public.
Haunted by the immense power she now possessed, Jenny turned to the one person who might understand - Manuel Corazon, aka Dialgo. Dialgo took Jenny under his wing, helping her understand her abilities and made her realize the potential good she could do with them.
Inspired by Dialgo's words and the work of the Peacekeepers, Jenny decided to use her powers for the greater good. She took up the hero name "Nebula" and joined the Peacekeepers, dedicating her life to protecting Earth and exploring the unknown corners of the universe.
As Nebula, Jenny has become a symbol of hope and resilience. With her unique abilities, she continues to push the boundaries of space exploration while ensuring the safety and peace of her home planet. Today, she is not just a hero, but also a pioneer, inspiring countless young girls to dream big and reach for the stars.
Nebula is the current leader of the Peacekeepers, a role she takes seriously. Initially she was hesitant to accept the role from the retiring Dialgo, but after many discussions with him, she decided to take on the mantle passed down from her mentor.
