Archetype: Hearth

Hearths are the most common freeholds. Most are ancient holdings, claimed by commoners who secured and safeguarded them long before the Resurgence.
No matter who owns the Hearth, it welcomes all changelings in need of safety. In return, commoners and Arcadian nobles alike rise up to defend the freehold when it needs them.
Benefit: A hearth grants its freeholders -2 difficulty on either Leadership or Socialize rolls (player’s choice) while they reside within.

A brightly colored beauty salon and makeup store.

Appearance:

Rainbow stripes paint the wall with iridescent whirls of color, with large plush couches and rugs in contrasting whites and pinks (truthfully they should be absolutely filthy in a beauty salon, but they are always pristine). The back room dances with lights like a disco ball before opening up into a full-on spa pool deck, where the water is iridescent and as colorful as the walls of the mundane areas.

Quirks: Color is the name of the game! Makeup, hair dye, nail polish, and anything applied to the skin may not be the same color on your person that it was on the bottle - it may even transmute to something in describable, like color of petrichor (the smell after rain), or the color of a kitten's purr.
