Original Empire NAME TBD

This is the empire that existed prior to the incursion of the Drow , Mind Flayers and Demons in XXXX year Before Roman Empire (BRE). During this time, magic was widely available,Magic Users were held in high regard, and Magic Items were widely available. The Wizards provided their input to the ruling of the empire from their island TBD_WIZARD_ISLAND. The second major political force was the ruling class of @Knights and Paladins that ruled over the land in a traditional feudal model; with wizards from the GOWN as advisors.

This civilization was effectively ended when the Underdark spewed forth the denizens of the deep, who proceeded to implement their long planned war plan and raze many of the major cities of the time. Remnants of these cities remain as ruins throughout the land. Some are close to existing civilizations that chose to rebuild slowly through the dark ages that followed the War of the Worlds . Others have fallen deep in to disrepair and have been consumed by the surrounding landscape as the millennia passed.
