Udea, Primeval God of Night and Morning's Sun (You-Day-uh)

Udea, the primeval god of darkness and fire, is the father of all gods, and by extension, all men. Worship of Udea can be traced back to the beginning of time, with depictions of him found on even the oldest Glindelfalin ruins.

Dogma

While mostly staying indifferent about what his followers do or act like, Udea does seem to have some distaste for undead. He still does not outright smite them, out of respect of Ilaephoala, however he shows them no favor when given the choice.

History

Known as the progenitor of all gods, Udea's precise origins are lost to time as a result of the Collapse. Most agree that he is the bringer of both Light and Dark, and that he himself created the world with his hand guided by Ilaephoala. The world was bland and featureless however, and soon Udea and Ilaephoala required help. After creating the other gods, Udea retired to the stars, to watch over the rest of the world.

Relationships

The gods are all one big family, with Udea at the head. He is the father of all the other deities, with the exception of Ilaephoala, the other Primeval God, with whom he had fallen in love. Together, they created the lesser gods, Geatola, Dasani, Coudax, Daess, and Oena.

Appearance

Udea is blindingly beautiful, with copper skin, long, black hair, and eyes the color of banked coals. He is of average height and thinly framed, to the point of mistaken femininity. Oft is he misinterpreted as a female, and he is rather quick to correct any misconstrued individuals with a vision. He usually wears a hooded cloak dyed gold.
