Geatola, Goddess of Earth and Agriculture
Geatoala, the firstborn of the new gods, and the Goddess of the Earth. She is worshiped by those who find the earth's bounty to be that which sustains them. She is believed to be the source of all life in the earth, from the trees to the grass and the nutrients in the soil.
Geatoala is a very forgiving goddess, and treats all fairly as long as they treat her, and her earth, with respect. Should a worshiper of Gea falter and neglect or mistreat the earth, they will be cast out of the faith until they atone, and do two good deeds for every one misstep. Once certain criteria have been met (She makes these on a case by case basis), they will be welcomed back with open arms and a clean slate.
As a child of Udea and Ilae, Geatoala's one purpose was to complete the earth her parents had made. It is believed that Geatoala is responsible for creating the mountains, the forests, the hills and the plains that form the landscape of Patonis. The features she created made the world mostly into what it is today.
Geatoala is related to all the main gods, as they all stem from Udea and Ilaephoala. She is the firstborn of the main gods, and seen as the authority among them. She looks at her siblings with the same fairness and respect that she gives mortals.
Geatoala, is stunningly beautiful with copper skin, waist length, swirling auburn hair, and eyes the color of polished oak. She is typically depicted with a heavy-set but hearty build, and wears a toga of an earthen brown color. Her hair is interlaced with a beautiful flower-crown, many buds sprouting and blossoming throughout. All through her hair is various other flowers, twigs, and leaves. Geatola's person is almost always seen being flocked around by butterflies, gentle sparrows, and other woodland birds.
