Dasani, God of Water and Travel

Dasani, the God of water, is the second-born child of Udea and Ilaephoala. His followers consist mostly of sailors and privateers, but some farmers and other smallfolk sometimes make their way into his ranks. It is widely believed that all the water on the planet originates from Dasani, and that he controls the tides and running rivers.

Dogma

Dasani has perhaps the most violent responses to wrongdoers in his followers. It is said that those that dishonor the name of the sea god are cursed with bad weather and tidal waves on their next voyage, some even capsizing the ship as a whole. If deemed horrible enough, Dasani is said to grant mortals the ability to breath underwater, then trap them at the bottom of the ocean for the rest of their lives, left there to be slowly eaten by the sea and creatures within.

History

Upon birth, Dasani was given the task of filling the ancient valleys and hills with water, fill them enough to make oceans and seas. After doing so, he filled in the lakes and rivers of the world. From then, his duty was to work the tides of the ocean, and grant safe passage to those who remained devoted to his name.

Relationships

Seen as the "Problem Child", Dasani has always been looked down upon by his siblings. He wears his short temper on his sleeves, lashing out at any he can, every chance he can get. He prefers to remain alone in the sea, surrounded by his own creations. His favorite company is that of his pet kraken, lovingly named Bubbles.

Appearance

At first glance, the eyes are drawn to his abnormally tinted skin, a bright sea-foam green. His hair, ever flowing as if submerged in water, is shifting colors with his moods. A particularly bad day would tint his hair a dark grey, while a cheerful mood sees it turning a calm light-blue. Upon his head lies a golden crown inset with lustrous pearls. His robes are shaded a deep blue with wave-like patterns flowing freely across.
