What back home do you miss in particular? Talk about it. (Erick, instead talk about TT's favorite rooms or her favorite things to do at Dusk Harbor- or maybe what she's excited to see it grow into.)
Let's say the crew was throwing your character the surprise party of their dreams. What would your character hope that would be like? What food, drinks, aesthetics would your character look forward to? Is it even on the ship? Who would be there? Is there anyone who WOULDN"T be there?
How did your character react and how did they feel the first time they saw someone or something die? Was it an animal? A sapient person? Was it by their own hands?
Pick at least 2 of the three questions to answer in or out of character. Please have questions completed by Saturday, May 11th, 2024.
1.) It's a surprisingly soft answer, but Huey misses the colony of cats that he used to care for. He was a lonely kid, so the cats not only gave him companionship, but a purpose as well. They lived a peaceful life on the docks near his home and he fed them daily. When one of them was ill or injured, he took them to a little infirmary he set up in his bedroom, and nursed them back to health. Some of the cats would follow him around the city, which unnerved the others. There he was, a demon spawn strolling about with a gaggle of beat-up looking stray cats. Kid's shady.
2.) I can't give you those details. It's a surprise.
3.) Huey was thirteen when he witnessed someone dying. He and the small group of friends he had jumped a drunk merchant in an alley. They wanted to take his coin purse and run, but unfortunately Huey's demonic heritage wasn't going to let it be that simple. Plus, why take his coins when they could take all of his valuables? While his friends left with the gold, Huey beat the man to death with a brick, and then took all of his shit. He felt no shame nor guilt. Nope, just excitement and a sick sense of pride over his "trophies".
