Sea Signs in Pathfinder Pirates | World Anvil

Sea Signs

Originally developed in Binh Minh and later spreading to Hildemar, Numverae, and even further (especially among coastal towns), sea signs are a system of prediction or fortune-telling based around the time of day when one is born and the ocean tides present during that time of day. According to its followers, the flow of the tides influence each individual's personality and may shape their future destiny. The tidal cycle is divided up into six periods. These are then given unique personality traits, symbols, and names to represent them.
