Ward of the Gods

The Ward of the Gods is one of the four wards of the City of Bridges, located in the . Though named for its many temples to various religions, which the Iron Lord allows to continue to operate as a way to pacify the masses, the ward is home to various institutes of learning, including the now destroyed Convocation of Mysteries . The majority of the homes here are those of the various clergy and other church employees as well as students and the ultra-devout who wish to live near the temples to their chosen deities. Great parks dot this ward, which are home to druidic circles and worshipers of such primal deities such as Nature and the Moon . These parks are also home to at least one dryad queen. Businesses cater to the university crowds as well as the clergy, leading to a mix of businesses that include rowdy taverns, somber and quiet pubs and shops of all kinds. Though there are a great many temples that can be found here, one notable exception is that there is no temple dedicated to Death within the Ward of the Gods. That temple is instead located at the heart of the Necropolis.
The Ward of the Gods lies north of the Necropolis and east of the Ward of Coins.
In the Underbridge sections of this ward, temples to various cults can be found, particularly those that are outlawed elsewhere in the city. More than a few demons and devils roam this area, seeking out worshipers or souls to claim as their own. Of particular interest is a shop called Masks which, if you can find it and are willing to pay the price of the fiend that runs it, it is said that you can exchange your face for a new one.
