Warding Bond damage transfer

The Warding Bond spell (RAW) isn't specific about the damage it transfers in terms of changing the type or preventing reduction. As a result:

• If the caster of the bond has some resistance or vulnerability to the damage coming from the bond based on type, that is still applicable.
• If the caster can reduce the damage in some way (Absorb Elements, Heavy Armor Master, etc.) that still triggers on the relevant types of damage transferred through the Bond.
