These savage and disgusting creatures can often be found in underground places in the world. Legends indicate they serve the mind flayers, but no one who has encountered a mind flayer has lived to report about it. It's possible the grimlocks still expect to render up the brains of their prey to their original masters. The grimlocks themselves are expert hunters and excel in dark and secluded underground spaces, despite being sightless.
