MS-505A Pilot Tunnel-Shelter
"A commong thing we saw when we passed by patrolling mechs on Falias were two or three chassis parked next to eachother with a few long tunnels of sealed fabrics connecting the entry-hatches to oneanother, usually with a larger bubble somewhere in the middle. My guide explained that these were Tunnel-Shelters, a sort of self-assembling tent that could form a sealed tunnel between cockpits towards a more spacious center with its own life-support system. It was originally meant to give medics and corpsmen a little more room to perform emergency surgery on pilots, but it's became a popular mainstay in pilot survival-kits as a way of giving a squadron of pilots some safe room to stretch their bodies and meet up in-person with their squadmates, even in space. Some of the more luxurious civilian models even have provisions to safely light up a camping-stove. I made a note of asking if they had printing schema for one when the opportunity presented itself (they don't as of right now, sorry)."
