Through the capabilities of the Archons, their Seconds and Champions, and their people, Senka relocation from the Shadow Plane to the Malestrom went fairly well. Senka kept largely to itself for many years as it stabilised within the inner ring.
In one of the larger events for the Inner Ring a new island suddenly appeared. To the surprise of some it was came into existence with a track connecting to it's own station, and it was quickly found out that the new arrival was called New Avalon.
The densely packed city at it's heart had been under threat from the ever-treacherous Creeping Chaos, and the Elder God had been sending his agents into the city for weeks. Many of them were still there, strange creatures and devoured human shells wandering the streets wearing the faces of noble men and women.
Still, the war was effectively ended, and the new island rapidly found it's place within the Inner Ring.
Senka made agreements with Parhelion LLC and trade factions across the inner ring to establish the railway station and trade hall. Issues during construction led to strict rules on buying or selling the living and any exchange of Senka's artefacts with outsiders.
New Avalon began and over the course of a decade refitted the dockyards new Kaer Llundain into Airship facilities, allowing the island to begin looking deeper into the void. The prolonged project saw several setbacks but was completed a year behind schedule.
The train into Olympia Station had an unusually high number of...strange people. There are vague murmerings among the upper echelons as to what this event might meant.
Crysta, Barnaby, Nilly, Alexis and Jeanne managed to find a stranded train and rescue the survivors, although the cargo was lost to the Void. These was also a short encounter with a night train from another realm...

As they did they met a caravan of gnome merchants from Meccleston, a hill town to the north-east of the desert which acts as a trading stop before the narrow mountain path. These gnomes had gone to trade with the riverfolk but had been ambushed on the river crossing and had lost most of their goods and lives. Binah, Cheech, Shadow and Artemus were hired by a wealthy Triaxian on Olympia station to go to the Elemental Plane of Earth and seek out an earth elemental sorceress, Elphira Cobbletonk. She was rumored to have successfully left the Void for good and the Triaxian wanted to learn how she had managed this.
The Triaxian hired a local ratfolk mage, Agamar the Mighty, to plane shift them there. They found themselves in many caves and tunnels and encountered a half-elf whose sister had been murdered by a local gang of sandmen.
Cobbletonk had promised devastation upon the sandmen so the party tracked down the gang and found only a few sandmen left over from Cobbletonk's destruction. They killed six and two escaped. Then the party tracked Cobbletonk from the hideout to her residence. She provided them with hospitality and samples of an old earth elemental family tea she had modified to help those who bathed in it dream of the key for them to leave the Void forever.

Eight people from across the void were summoned by Hochmael, the celestial and his sister the Deviless that goes by the title The Mother of Fire. They were informed they would be participating in a competition to test their convictions and would be competing against one another. They were split into two teams along alignment lines.
Team angel consisted of Zeljka, Renna, Alistiel and Natalia.
They were transported to a village full of what were clearly abberations. Upon investigation it was revealed that the village had been overrun with these creatures and some of the normal villagers had been taken captive and transformed, forced to live among the evil creatures that had slaughtered their kinsfolk. After much fighting and effort Team Angel was able to murder the Mayor, the source of the corruption and change, but not before accidentally murdering two innocents of their own.
Team Chaos consisted of: Red Hook, Noko, Fesk, and Charity.
They were transported upon a semi-abandoned void vessel in a location called the Sky Kingdoms. They promptly used this vessel to target a VIP transport ship in hopes of stealing goods from the wealthy. What they succeeded in doing was thwarting an interior plot to murder a Contessa who was attempting to smuggle out her daughter, the reining princess of the nearby kingdom. They managed to rescue her and escape her security detail by zooming into void space before being called back to face the judgement of the Celestial in his game.

There they met his clockwork butler, Edgar, who informed them of a secretive demon cult that had taken root in a dance studio on the upper levels of the Entertainment district. While initially suspicious they were being deceived or at the very least under-informed by their employer, they investigate the studio and find in fairly short order evidence of a demon cult. After accidentally giving up the ghost, the cultists try to sacrifice the boy but he is saved via some quick thinking and action by Pelatorious. The cultists instead sacrifice one of their own number and a portal opens to an unknown destination. Demons and cultists alike try to hold off the adventurers, but they slaughter them all and manage to take down the head of the cult... but not before he hurls a mysterious cane sword through the portal. Afterward the party discovers the boy, Peter, has inadvertently signed away his existence to a Devil. They provide him his own contract, effectively giving him ownership of himself. They also discover that the cane sword hurled into the portal somehow warped the mind of the original owner of the studio, but with no way of knowing where it went they decide it is a problem for another day...

Alister, Durnok, Vim, Alexis and Jeanne went into the Plateau of Leng to find some valuable items. After scraping some rocks for lichen, and killing some Nightgaunts, they were approached by a strange figure calling itself Norhu Malman. It presented itself as another adventurer looking for their fortune in Leng. Norhu suggested ambushing some Denizens of Leng that he would lead to their deaths, and the party reluctantly agreed. The first ambush went excellently, and then Norhu suggested they sneak into the city in the guise of a slaver and newly captured slaves to get some larger rubies. The party vehemently disagreed, and Norhu left to go get another round of Denizens to ambush.
It was at this point that the Leng Ghoul that had been following them spoke. It's one of the few Leng Ghouls that maintains a non-evil alignment, and it warned them that Norhu was most likely going to bring back a bunch of his Denizen friends, as Norhu was most likely a Denizen. It also agreed to mentor Durnok, and mentioned something about a Great Conjunction, but did not agree to fight with the party.
Norhu, 5 other Denizens, and two slaves tried to attack the party. The party for it's part, managed to repel the Denizens, killing three, and causing the other 3 to plane shift away. Norhu escaped, and threatened them all to return, and to target their families, but not before he ripped the throat out of one of the slaves he was holding captive. The other slave perished in the fight. Through quick thinking, the party managed to stabilize the slave who's throat had been torn out, and brought them back to Parhelion to be healed. The common folk in a docks neighborhood of New Avalon share rumors of an Elder cult, masquerading as a hotel, that has been kidnapping and murdering folks. Beelzebufo, T87, Binah, Perceval, and Wuld banded together to take it down. They immediately split into two groups, failed to infiltrate in a sneaky way, and engaged loudly. This went poorly due to the twenty-some cultists in the building, all of whom heard the very loud and extended battle. The cult boss led the cultists in capturing all of the heroes except BB.
BB ran through the streets until he found some more heroes, Gallorai, Mag, and Vivian, to help him rescue his captured friends!
Meanwhile, the other heroes woke up in the cultists jail cells, bound. The boss interrogated them but T87 proved uncooperative and got bonked back to unconsciousness. The boss produced a mesmerizing pearl, apparently some sort of enchantment that each member of the cult possessed, and Binah became completely enamored with them. The party, however, did not accept the offers to join the cult and was instead intended as sacrifices to the blood pit.
But Binah used some minor teleportation tricks to escape the cell and snuck off. She found the sluice gate the fed blood from the cultist's blood pit to... somewhere... and closed it, harming all the cult clerics.
Then she joined the rescue party outside. They rescued the prisoners and kicked butts. Before dying, the cult boss asked them to leave her personal shrine alone. Wuld and Gallorai spitefully destroyed it, despite it having no apparent magical significance. The boss roared with laughter as she came back to life as powerful abberration! The party struggled but put it down, finally ending things.
