Helen led her people to form a proper settlement at the mouth of the Western Ravine. After saving her fellow children from slaughter at the hands of raiders by creating a villiage mirage in the sandbar islands at the mouth of the ravine, she spent several years studying the region.
Her knowledge of the area and her logistical skills led her to convince the tribal council that they should create a permanent settlement at the mouth of the ravine, instead of following the fish up and down the coast.
She allegedly led the town for 200 years, however it's more likely that a daughter or granddaughter took over at some point.
