The First Shade

The discarded body of the Dark Being that detached its soul from its body. The body of the Dark Being slowly deteriorated following the detachment and became akin to a skeletal seven winged dragon. The First shade is highly intelligent and extremely resourceful, aiming at retrieving its soul in any way it can and become whole again. For that to happen, The First Shade tried to use Dream magic and created the very special Nightmare Magic. Since it is still trapped in the anti-matter side of our universe, the only way it can get to our side is through the nightmares it conjures. To this day The First Shade is the only creature to use nightmare Magic.

The First Shade is the deity all Shades worship. The stronger the Shade is, the stronger The First Shade's influence is on them and thus the weaker the influence the master of the Shade has on them.
