The Dark Being
A twin of The Supreme Deity, born at the same event out of the same neutron star, completing The Supreme Deity in terms of the effects on the universe and it’s contents. Whilst The Supreme Deity can control matter and energy, the Dark Being can control anti-matter and anti-energy. The Dark Being’s existence was unknown to The Supreme Deity and thus to most other creatures in the universe due to their incompatibility in the material realm, being unable not only to co-exist, but also to interact with each-other without completely annihilating one another. It resided in the other side of the universe, in complete separation from our side of the universe as matter and anti-matter cannot co-exist in the same location. The Dark Being is often depicted in its most favourite form of a golden seven winged and seven eyed dragon.
After eons of roaming the anti-matter sector of space on its own, the Dark Being started to contemplate and wonder about the matter sector of the universe and used its own powers to create the foundations of what will become the “Shadow Branch of magic” and the “Dream Branch of Magic”. The Dark Being detached its own soul of its body and thus managed to travel into the matter side of the world through the Dream Realm, being able to communicate and influence creatures through their dreams and subconscious. The body of the Dark Being that was left behind became the very first shadow creature and slowly deteriorated into the First Shade.
