Dragons

There are many dragons. They are some of the most ancient creatures in the planet, created by the Deities themselves after the abolition of the Primordials and the creation of evolution. Not all dragons were created equal. Dragons initially were created as any other animal, out of the desire of the Deities to have a creature resemble them. They created them by infusing their own blood and some of their magic into the creatures that existed back then, the dinosaurs and chose very specific dragons to grant sentience.
The dragons swarmed the earth and evolved to suit all climates and biomes. Fields, underwater, mountains, jungles, deserts, taigas, lakes, rivers, badlands, frozen tundras, icebergs, volcanoes, underground, canyons, etc.
Dragons exist due to nature magic and thus can control it along with elemental magic. Other than that, some dragons receive other magical abilities after being granted sapience due to the increase in magical magic
