Neo-Cores

Neo-cores are more an ideology than any official group one can join. Officially known as “Biological Preservationists”, members of the neo-core movement are somewhere between a religious and a political faction. They are in favor of preserving “what it means to be core Terran,” and are opposed to both Cybernetics and gene splicing and everything those technologies represent. They tend to lobby hard against technology and pharmaceutical companies that perform either of these sorts of upgrades, although they begrudgingly look the other way when they themselves are citizens of those corps (as most are). This does tend to lead to infighting as individual members often debate which of their corps is the most guilty of collusion.
Neo-cores do a majority of their work in VR. Though they don't have any official physical headquarters, they often take refuge among like-minded individuals or organizations. Additionally, nearly every space station, bubble colony, or tech company seems to find itself with at least one neo-core preaching in a public space against the sins of second-guessing Terran perfection.
