Volcanolith

The volcanolith is a large stone and a complex where Fire Shamans worship and get their powers.
The Volcanolith is a massive black monolithic stone covered in fire coloured glowing runes. It is built on a rocky shelf on the east side of a large caldera which is full of lava. Underneath the monolith is a large complex of rooms and hallways carved into the cliffs on the edge of the caldera, that descend deeper towards the lava in the caldera, getting hotter the lower down it goes it goes. The greatest fire spirits can be spoken to only in extremely hot places, so the greatest fire shamans speak to them in the deepest chambers under the volcanolith, where it is the hottest. The complex under the volcanolith also have many blacksmith shops, where Fire Shamans create magic tools and weapons.
