Queen Stalgard III

Queen Stalgard is the current leader of the New Shorian Empire. She is responsible for transforming the New Shorian Empire from a large but normal empire, to a mighty militaristic autocracy.

Motiviation and History

Queen Stalgard is the third monarch in the great Stalgard dynasty which took control of the Shorian kingdom in 739, and transformed it into the New Shorian Empire in 738 when King Stalgard I conquered Arctus.
Queen Stalgard's main goal is to expand the New Shorian Empire into being more like the old Shorian Empire, and return it to it's former glory. She feels the need to live up to her father and grandfather, who both greatly expanded the New Shorian Empire. She seeks to achieve this goal by conquering other nations, mainly the Regius, Alaric, the Shenrian Empire, and Tolgod. She has greatly expanded and modernized the military and introduced new doctrines and tactics.

Personality

Queen Stalgard III is extremely reserved, calm, calculating, yet strong and forceful leader. She also greatly dislikes weak/weird people, seeing them as a drain on her empire's society.
Queen Stalgard III is highly intelligent and skilled in politics. To most has appears to be very calm and casual about many things, although quickly becomes more hostile when she feels that her time is being wasted. She also acts rather condescending to most people, and when she is serious she can have a very commanding presence. She appears to be very unemotional, although she does have emotions, but hides them under a mask of calmness and strength, and her guise of strength and calmness have almost never broken, and never in public, and the only thing she really shows her true feelings to is her beloved cat, The Archduke.

Relationships

Emperor Wulfrum, Emperor of the Merindian Empire

Queen Stalgard III has extreme respect and admiration for Emperor Wulfrum, as his extreme intelligence and skill in so many things had always amazed her. Emperor Wulfrum View Qeen Stalgard III as a strong leader, but potentially dangerous as her plans to conquer other nations to regain the lost glory of the old Shorian Empire have been revealed to him.

Consul Haelas, leader of Regius

Queen Stalgard III has a rather neutral opinion oh Haelas. She respects him because of how they both dislike weak/weird people and they both use force against their enemies, but she still does want to conquer Regius and he is a great obstacle in that goal. aelas respects Queen Stalgard III for her strong will and use of force, and they both dislike weird/weak people. Haelas still doesn't like her though because empire, the New Shorian Empire because he knows that she plans on conquering Regius.

Mithrim

Queen Stalgard III dislikes speaking to Mithrim and is often on edge whenever near him. She fears Mithrim's mystical power and hates him because he treats her like she's lesser than him, something she's not used to at all. Mithrim treats Queen Stalgard III as inferior and only takes her seriously because of how powerful her empire is. Mithrim also somewhat fears Queen Stalgard III because she plans to conquer his country of Tolgod.
