dragon serpent

Dragon serpents are large carnivorous reptiles from the eastern parts of Sundra, more specifically the hot parts of Elendrum, as well as Amala.

Description

Dragon serpents are large snake-like reptiles with hard scaly skin. They have 4 short legs which they use to help keep them stable and to move better. Dragon serpents have very hard spiny scales running along their backs, like a crocodile's back but more spiky. Dragon serpents have long dragon-like heads, and on their heads are 4 large curved horns.   Dragon serpent's horn length, back spine length, size, and colour all vary by species. The smallest is around 50 feet (15.2 meters) and the largest can be up to 250 feet (76.2 meters) long.

Diet and Hunting

Dragon serpents are hypercarnivorous predators that hunt the huge animals of eastern Sundra. They hunt elephants, stegodons, hippos, bloodfangs, rhinos, crocodiles, bears, deinosuchus, dire elephants, and any other large animal it can get it's jaws around.

Geographic Range

Dragon serpents can be found in the badlands, golden desert, and eastern jungle regions of Elendrum. They're also widespread all throughout Amala.
