blackwing hallon

The blackwing hallon (also often referred to simply as blackwing) is a species of hallon that inhabits the forests of southern Merindia and northern Kolokrad.  

Appearance

The blackwing hallon's most immediately noticeable feature is that it is entirely black, including it's talons, legs and beak. Blackwing hallons have all of the common features that are unique to hallons, like teeth, wing claws, and long tails. The wing fingers are notably long, and they use them to climb trees. The blackwing hallons have more jagged teeth than other hallons, and extra feathery tails and more feathers underneath the beak and neck. Blackwing hallons, like all hallons are extremely large, with a wingspan of 45 feet (13.7 meters).  

Prey

Blackwing hallons are carnivores and feed on prey between 120 lbs to 8,000 lbs, which includes a wide variety of prey which includes humans and much of their lives stock like cows, pigs and sheep, and they also commonly eat horses.
