Godbound

You have entered into a pact with a god. The god blesses you with some boon and binds you to the god usually to complete some purpose. When selecting this mantle, also select any other non-Fae mantle. If a god enters into a pact with a Succumbed or someone involved in a Black Pact, it is usually done towards the goal of eventually freeing them from their fate. Or making it worse. Your patron can't lie to you in the terms of the pact, but misleading you isn't the same thing as lying.

Note that gods aren't some extra-dimensional eldritch being manipulating the world while being largely detached from it. They are living beings that exist in the world along side of us. Very bored, immortal, living beings. While it is generally believed that killing a god is technically possible, no one is taking bets on it actually happening.

Gods vary from obtuse to downright cryptic.

The god will have some agenda or task you are now bound to fulfill and you just gave her or him levers to use to hold you to it.

Core Stunts:

• Godbound: The god gains a great deal of power over the character, but not outright control. The god may declare or remove any situational or physical aspect in a scene subject to its specific idiom. The god is usually at least capable of being aware of whatever you say and do. The god could set you on fire if that is its thing. The god could heal or cause injuries if it really wanted to. However, you are very replaceable, and mortals don't last very long in any event. Gods are beings that play the long game almost exclusively, and you have made yourself a tool with the label "expendable" on the side. The god can propose a compel on behalf of the Godbound character whenever the character rolls a -3 or a -4.
• The Boon: You get "a thing". It's like The Upside from Black Pact , but without the Black Influence. However, the god can disable or hold back whatever it ends up being at will, unless it is knowledge.
