God of War and Tyranny

Arguably the most dangerous God amongst the Pantheon. He is thought to be the genesis of the 1000 Years' War between the Aasimar and Tieflings (which resulted in their banishment from Pannonia). Very few worship him on Pannonia but not much is known about his followers across the Narrow Sea on Bahmia. Most regularly depicted as a Titan wielding Foehammer, a huge maul supposedly forged by the Forge-God Tharmekhûl in the heart of a star in the Astral Plane.

Bane had a dark and rather shadowy appearance with a resemblance of dark armor and his tell-tale jeweled, dark gauntlet. He emanated an aura of vast power and cruel intelligence.
Banite customs are often quite spartan in nature and the god's followers celebrate no holidays in honour of their god, instead showing their gratitude to him through service and the ritual torture and sacrifice of sentient beings offensive to the god. Priests of Bane prayed for their spells at midnight, pledging their eternal loyalty and service to the Black Hand, knowing full well that the penalty for failure or disloyalty was death.
