Honey vs Sugar

Tea

Tea is brewed in a variety of ways all around the world. Some ways are simple, others complicated, and many steeped deeply with tradition.   Serving tea comes in as many ways as there are types of teas. These two can be woven with tradition.   Tea drinkers often prove their tea knowledge by comparing the tea varieties, brewing methods, and serving traditions. Lively but friendly debates over these issues is one of the joys drinkers delight in at tea parties.   In the kingdom of Miribex, a domain of humans, tea drinkers have been divided into two camps .... honey or sugar?

Sweet Divide

How this divide came to be has been lost in the generations but it is believed that the conflicting traditions between city folks and country folks keeps it neverending.   Those in the city prefer sugar, especially as it can be shaped into cubes or other shapes to be very pleasing to guests at a tea party, which is a big party of city life.   Country folks, those from small towns, villages, and homesteads, rarely host or attend tea parties. Instead, tea is served when visitors stop by and honey is always offered as the sweetener of choice.
