The Plague-Bringer's Axe
The Plague-Bringer's Axe, a unique and cursed instrument of death and decay, held by Pestis the Plague-bringer. it was forged in the fires of the infernal depths and tempered with the blood of a thousand innocents. Its wooden handle, long since rotted away, had been mostly replaced with a tangle of sticky black ichor, coiled tightly around the haft like a serpent poised to strike.
The metal head of the axe, though once finely crafted, now appeared twisted and warped, as if melted and reformed by the hellish heat of the underworld. The edge of the blade, jagged and cruel, glinted wickedly in the faint light that seeped through the dense fog that surrounded it.
But it was the center of the weapon that held the true horror. A glowing and pulsating green liquid filled sack, nestled between the blade and the hilt, throbbed with an eerie light. The sickly fluid within seemed to writhe and boil, as if alive with malevolent energy. And with every swing of the axe, a noxious cloud of foul gas would burst forth, poisoning the air and rotting flesh on contact.
Those unfortunate enough to face the wielder of this accursed weapon would soon find themselves wracked with fever, their skin blistering and oozing with pus. The Plague-Bringer's Axe was a harbinger of doom, an instrument of death and decay, spreading sickness and death wherever it went.
