Tellechor, the Claw of Emsh
(The) Claw of Emsh (a.k.a. Loneclaw)
Older sister of Caziyel – less conventional – took a Sphinx form (including non-clay parts for wing membranes etc) and lives among their Claws in Zanarrol to the west. She works there as a smith.
Member of a loneclaw, so also known as "the Claw of Emsh". Or possibly Loneclaw of Emsh?
Partner, Fuuvyo, is a lynx-based northern sphinx (claw of the unconsumed), who designs and maintains thermal pyres and whose fur is constantly blackened by soot where it isn't singed.
Skills/demonstrations:
- Plant: creating a hawthorn hedge.
- Animal: finding and taming a silt-hawk.
- Cooking: preparing a hearty stew for the whole village.
- Domestic arts: pottery - crafting a clay oven, cooking pot, and set of plates and bowls.
- Building: building a single-firing structure to act as a forest hide.

- Specialist craft: forging, creating a set oftools (shovel, axe, hoe, sickle and scythe).

Physical Description
Body Features
Though built to the scale of a Northern Sphinx - with a cat-like body, prehensile forepaws and broad wings with fabric membranes - her head is humanoid, like a Southern Sphinx.
Special abilities
- Like all Emsh, made of clay – tough, fire-resistant and doesn't need to eat or breathe (arrowproof, but vulnerable to hammers). she is especially heat-resistant, able to work inside a blast furnace without cracking. as she is quite hollow, however, she is relatively fragile.
- strength commensurate with large size.
- flight - able to glide for hundreds of miles, although requires a perch or strong updraft to get airborne
- master forger and metalworker, creating many finely-wrought items. Especially has a knack for making very lightweight items, which are in high demand among Sphinxes.
- Skilled at a wide variety of crafts (as is common for Emsh – contrasts with Nidari specialisation)
- able to conduct slipwright procedures (learnt from her mother) in order to heal self of small injuries.
