Ithrum

(a.k.a. The Grey Ram)

infusions: sheep, chalk   a Calcomancer of Lerinim, one of the Sheep-infused quadrupeds of that land.   He is an Analytical Gyrist, working with the Commonwealth to research essence flow. He uses his magic to assist in the research. He worked as a spy for the commonwealth while being an essence-flow forecaster (expedition leader) with the Order of Calcomancers. After the Commonwealth's botched handling of the Season of Snakes, Ithrum leaves the order and becomes an independent agent.   Beyond that, his faith requires him to assist the ailing and all that stuff.   compassionate, confident, decisive, inclined to see and think the best in others.

Physical Description

Body Features

  • Quadrupedal, lower body covered in chalk-powdered black wool (which matches his head hair, which is pulled back into a messy bun).
  • Curled ram's horns on his head.

Special abilities

Skills and Abilities:
  • Fast and stable on 4 hooved legs, and has horns to ram/headbutt with.
  • Chalk infusion means he leaves a trail of chalk dust, which he can release in clouds for cover if needed.
  • highly skilled Calcomancer , specialising in analysis and force-shaping. works and draws quickly and decisively, and has knowledge of both large and small Patterns. for combat, he tends to use light-based attacks.
  • Capable fighter, especially with chain weapons like flails. able to see off a handful of bandits or villagers if not ambushed, but not a match for elite troops, let alone the most skilled of his fellow adventurers. "never mastered the forms of the hook-flails".

  • a weighted line to act as a measure, plumbline, compasses, and mace/flail as required. can have a weight-enhancing or adhering Pattern inscribed on the weight in order to hold it still.
