Xiomaran Arena - Lil's Debut and The Rise of Rufus
General Summary
Nightfall under guise of one of many sisters, brought along Rufus another newcomer to The Plane of Pandora to the arena in Xiomara. They would find themselves joined by Meako. The trio ventured into the arena after placing bets, they viewed a great warrior Angus McFife slewing a large mechanical being and making his way back below the pits. An announcer informed the crowd should this group make their way through a gauntlet, they would be granted a meeting with a council member.
Anthony set the arena for the day to be a display of some of his machinations and a creature caught. The trio initially fought spider drones, these quick little contraptions leap toward your head attempting to explode on impact. They were dispatched with only a couple initial injuries. The Gobbos and their Carer faced a group of guards made of gears.
Having done so well in their initial rounds they showed love top the crowd and crowd would show it back. The creature captured would be revealed to be a Shadow, dangerous strewngth sapping creatures. Rufus had trouble getting through to hit it, and its draining touch caused quite a bit of trouble for him. Meako and Lily were able to just barely get through to its incorporeal heart, and lay the creature low.
After their victory their prize money was brought in and given personally to them by Tony.
