The Cloven Council
General Summary
The centaur of the Cloven Council called upon representatives from Tetrodora and Fjordhaven to attend a session regarding the war raging in the Havens. To represent Tetrodora, Milo, Roger and Asano made their way to the council, following the tracks of centaur from their city who attended. To represent Fjordhaven, Savin traveled there to represent the King, who could not make it. Upon arrival, they spoke to some of the common centaur, learning of some of the biases and beliefs of the separate tribes.
On the day of the council, Milo was chosen as speaker for Tetrodora, with Savin as speaker for Fjordhaven. They learned that the centaur had already been approached by the Drow, who asked them to stay neutral in the war, in exchange for the gift of all of the plains once the humanoid empires had been overthrown. After some discussion and a fair amount of arguing, Milo decided that Tetrodora would be happy for the centaur to remain neutral in the war. Savin, on the other hand, decided to make promises to the Maplefoot and Wildhoof tribes. He promised that if he would convince the Fjordhaven council to send an army to the next battle, as well as convince them to give up some land to those tribes, in exchange for the centaur sending warriors along with the Fjordhaven army. Those two tribes were willing to make that promise. As such, should Fjordhaven agree to give up the promised land and allow the Centaur army to travel with them, they would send warriors to the next battle.
