General Summary
Milo called for aid in exploring the lands claimed by Tetrodora. Roger, Asano and Evette answered his call. They met at the Basalt Keep in Trader's Cusp. There they slowly came to the realization that they did not have any actual plans for how to get to Ruintale Island. So, they sat down to learn from Evette, the only one who had been there before, to figure out the best way to get there, while trying to also figure out how to survive the wintery conditions. After deciding to 'borrow' Azim's longship, they sent Asano and Evette to hire a crew from the local tavern and waterfront. With a rough crew of inexperienced sailors hired, they piled food on board and set sail down the river to the coast.
Struggling with the fierce winter ocean waves, they managed to stay on course and make their way west, staying out of Sovereignty controlled waters. As they headed west of the Isles of Corella, they got raided by Sahuagin. The fighting was fierce, with several sailors losing their lives. Evette nearly died, as did Milo. Roger dueled an oracle, who used silence to turn off Roger's spellcasting. Asano stood in the middle of the deck, battling sahuagin and sharks, trying to keep people alive. As their numbers decreased, the last living sahuagin dove into the ocean to escape, followed by his shark friends. The party mounted the heads of the fallen sahuagin on the front of the longship.
