Kyrnyn
The triumphant trio returned to West Haven with good news: The ettin’s curse had been lifted!
Kyrnyn was a member of an adventuring party that had fought a wizard nearly a century ago. The cleric had been polymorphed into an ettin, a two-headed troll, yet his god, Torm the True, did not grant him the power to dispel it. His second head, Muck, manifested Kyrnyn’s cruelty, awoke and started terrorizing New Saltmarsh. After learning the secret of a riddle, adventurers traveled to the ruin outside the town, Oldkeep, where they confronted him, as well as an angry mob of locals. The party restrained themselves, knocking out or tripping most of the mob, and beat Muck into submission, letting Kyrnyn finally free himself with a spell after realizing the tyranny in his heart.
Kyrnyn had befriended a local family that had taken him in, and traveled the road for a while doing odd jobs to support them. After New Saltmarsh was flooded by the Havenstorm, the cleric sought adventurers to help him put them to rest.
