Hunting Lodge: Great Plains experdition
General Summary
Khalid in his disguise had put up a post to gather people for a simple hunting trip, however only a single person responded Plays-With-Squirrels, they did manage to find a Halfling Hunter that agreed to come with them, for a share of the game they catch and other things they might find. and so our group set out, first comming across a pair of devil monkeys someone had been given weapons and armor and atleast partially teached how to use them, the party had a somewhat hard time, with them, and Khalid got severly injured by one of the arrows one of them shot, but in the end they managed to defeat it.
next they found drag marks leading to the corpse of one of these devil monkeys, that plays with squrriels had flewn over to check out, however when Khalid walked over to have a look he was ambushed by a demonic deadfall scorpion, and knocked uncouncise, but a bit into the battle Plays-With-Squirrels was able to heal him, after a long and stransous battle, thier Halfling friend and tobby the moose dying and most of them except plays with squirrels getting severly wounded, they managed to take it down. they chose to shadow walk to Plays-With-Squirrels house, and sleep there, no problems there, but the next day they found a letter outside the door, telling them that if they survived they should stop interferring with his experiments, from who it didn't say, and a teddy bear, the letter was trapped with a sepia snake sigil, that Khalid didn't manage to avoid, and was put into suspended animation which his cohort failed to manage to break, suddenly they were attacked by a pair of psyhic stalkers, Plays-With-Squirrels managed to kill one and most of his plants with life blasts, and the other was scarred off with chill touch, thou aslong as they keep that teddy bear its sure to come back.
