Grand Archivist

The leader of the Intelligencia, the Grand Archivist holds the pivotal role of guiding and managing a diverse community of scholars. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the guild, upholding the guild's reputation as a respected and influential institution within the realm, and leading members in the continual pursuit and disbursement of knowledge.
Should the Grand Archivist retire from their role, any High Curator may be promoted to the position. The requirements are that the High Curator must have been in their role for at least (2) months. They may be appointed by the Grand Archivist if the retirement is planned, if they and will need to be voted by a majority vote of all Lorewardens and High Curators. This vote is to take place within one month of the unexpected retirement of the Grand Archivist, otherwise the role defaults to the longest standing High Curator.
The Grand Archivist has all the expectations and privileges of all previous ranks, with the following additions:

• Establish and enforce guild policies.
• Has final say on conflicts that arise as part of guild related activities.
• Manage and track funds donated to The Intelligencia.
• Able to promote people to any other rank in the guild.
