Explore KK43
General Summary
Adonis, Mull and Plays-With-Squirrels met in Xiomara to go Exploring on the open seas north west of Xiomara. Getting to the docks to meet Zephyr, they found his ship ready to cast off, but Zephyr was not on board. they saild south to Lakeside, where they met up with Zephyr. Meanwhile, Zephyr was meeting with General Eklik, who presented him with a Letter of Marque, which they both signed. Taking his copy of the letter, Zephyr left the meeting and met up with the rest of the party.
The next day they sailed out to uncharted waters to explore. When they reached the area they wanted to explore, they soon saw sails in the distance. Raising the flag of the Hobgoblin Nation next to his own pirate flag, Zephyr moved them in close enough to hail the other ship. the sailors on the other ship were wary, with crossbows at the ready. When conversation broke down the party killed the whole crew, taking posession of the merchant vessel, The Ribble.
Later that day, as they were sailing around looking at open water, their ship was struck from below with enough force to capsize it. A huge whale furiously attacked them, knocking Mull unconscious and seriously harming nearly every other member of the party before it was finally killed. The sailors quickly went to work using the captured vessel and the ships boats to right Zephyrs ship before she sank below the waves.
Finished exploring, they returned to Lakeside, where they reported their findings and from there the party split and went their several ways.
