Explore Havens - MM63

General Summary

Adonis, Rufus, and Anastasia Nightfal set out to explore more parts of the Badlands. Upon arrival in the barren lands they were accosted by a group of orc raiders, and after some confused speech with Rufus the raiders attacked. The raider's had a clear advantage sending Rufus flying with a few heavy swings, Adonis lost his horse to a raider who cut it in half and they found themselves overwhelmed. A strange orc showed up which gave them the edge to turn the tide and they rallied slaying the raiders, after some healing they found out his name is Cask and he is searching for an honorable death. He brought them to the watering hole and explained that water is so rare in the Badlands that no fighting among beast or traveler is allowed there, the party rested and even did some trading while there with some gnoll merchants. In the morning they set out, they found themselves wandering and spotted a deathworm emerge. Anastasia Nightfal used her magic to hold it in place but even unable to move it held it's own with a lightning strike, noticing that they could not make any headway in the fight with this limitation the party decided it best to leave and returned to Trader's Cusp and finding their way back from there.
