Dawnbringer, Part 7
General Summary
[The following is a coded message intercepted by the Waterdhavian Watch.]
Master,
Early reports are in: The cell located in Skullport has been attacked. Apparently they made a deal with a gold dragon, and it drew the attention of the Dawnbringer Company for some reason. The Xanather also seems to be supporting them, offering membership if they wipe us out, but no one knows how they were contacted (sending? bird feather token?).
The Company was kicked out of the Spires, some kind of religious disagreement. Meanwhile, a few of them collected notes on gold dragons from the Font of Knowledge and shopped for a few scrolls (Sequester Thoughts, Trap the Soul) and some gems (2 fire agates, valued at 20,000 gp and 500 gp; material components?). From what I understand, the attack was from the front, completely disabling the sentry while a ninja (one called Anathema) infiltrated the rest of the base. We think the unicorn may have communicated with them (animal messenger?), but it's unsure. I'll follow up with a second report once my investigation is complete, but for now all contact has been lost with the Skullport den.
