Arbour Exploration Edict Q5 - The Booze Weekender

General Summary

Our Journey started with the Arbour Kingdom requesting the exploration of the last remaining space within Old Honshu territory. While this was still a new and bordering land of Honshu it was only a couple merchants who were still consistantly being harrasssed by Mountain Folk. Little by little when Honshu fell the merchants and settlers left all but a few. Thusly, where our story begins.

Tiff and Matten had planned to meet and clear the hex once over, joining them would be Arc via portal, Lagiel and Azim. Finding eachother leaving Fjordhaven the two of them set off together and on their way found a humanoid looking ape of a man. The creature stood tall with posture like any human might, however the body was Simian in nature. The creature spoke Giant, and Azim recognized this, the creature thirsted for liquour.
The creature introduced himself as Borak and he was rather intelligent given how he would sound to someone who didn't speak the language. He was apparently a leader of a group of simian human hybrids much like himself that live all throughout the mountain. He led a small group of his people who he seemed to cherish like family. However he had this minor character flaw of; 'He drinks and makes horrible decisions.'
Azim quickly befriended the creature by providing him with almost as much alcohol as he could consume, upon meeting the two became fast friends. They proceeded to to pass by a group of merchants that still remained at the lower of the mountain on their way into Xiomara to meet Tiff.
Our party finally all gathered together, proceeded back toward the the mountain slope they were to explore. It would seem that the Mountain Folk had made their own camp here. Here they patrolled for anyone who may enter up the mountain. Borak and Azim found their way up to a small peak together known to the Mountain Folk as The Gap. The two of them arm in arm greeted the remaining members of the small tribe and proceeded to party with them throughout the day.
When the party of Tiff Lagiel and Matten made it clear how much they could be producing if only they had resources they took a great shine to them as well. The group of them partied together for 8 days while exploring new and exciting areas of The Gap and even began to clear them two seperate shafts to start mines. Azim throughout his stay would broker a sort of peace with the merchant gnoll below and the Mountain Folk. One where the gnoll would be protected by the Mountain Folk while they expanded their territory while providing food and liquor to the apes. This treaty would later become known as The Mask & Liquor Treaty which would go on to protect all gnoll who bears the mask of the Kidogo Folk or better known by the Mountain Folk 'The Little Folks.'
Having been promised all they could hope for and being brought into prosperity, the Mountain Folk were happy to agree to coming into Arbourian borders. Later after the party after the fun and drinks Azim and Borak met to go over some business. This would lead to a brotherhood of sorts between the two.
