All That Glitters Must Be Gold

General Summary

The crew was met first by a messenger Harald the herald who appeared through what looks like their vision crumpling on itself, through a crack in the world, He ferrys each of the party to a second location. (never a good sign)
The crew is then carried over to New Saltmarsh via wagon. The Bar Wagon.
As they reach the outskirts of town they are told that they will see what looks to be people running in one direction toward the docks and they were to follow. As they are rushing they do in fact see large and hard men rushing toward the docks, and in their path they see three guards and are thankfully able to spot them before they are noticed and have time to prep with disguises past the guards.
getting toward the ship they find themselves as well as harold and the Captain (Long John Silver) are the first to arrive as the town guard is trying to move the ship, at which point it would be lost.
The team is forced to deal with a gunman at an uncomfortable range as he attempts to pelt some shots into them he thankfully misses as the party is able to dispatch him while Harold and Cap managed a larger Paladin looking gentleman.
Finally having taken back the Promised Future, the party, the pirates, the harold and capn make their way over to a remote island where rich material is said to be.
On board the team faces sea snakes and a great basalisk alike and manage to subdue the sea snakes with little effort and the constrictor they managed to capture live. (intention to net profit)
Arriving on the island they enter the cave and nearly miss their target metal but thankfully someone had a keen enough eye to know about the material. after they had identified the material the pickers came in mined out what they could and a decent haul was pulled, its an unreliable source due to no trade routes or established infrastructure. When the pickers had done what they could porters were brought in for offload to the ship, no mine carts meant a lot of heavy metal in bags to be carried.
Long John offered the team a cut of profit and also offered to buy their snake off of them. the team negotiated farily well with the illustrious captian. and he offered them a pistol, alongside 500 a piece gp's worth of noqual a piece in retrurn for their help and their time.
