The Grand Sacrifice

Life, Death

1301

By the end of the abyssal corruptions most hope had left the world, in desperation Elision marched into the abyss and confronted Abaddon. Here she made a deal for the fate of the world, giving her own soul in exchange.
The armies of the abyss withdrew and the withered state of zenith and Pallisia were allowed to once more blossom and grown in the light of a new deity. When Elision sacrificed herself she gave birth to a new religion and became in the eyes of her worshippers a god. Elisianity was born with her death, which created a second schism in the Altar.
Pallisia was made a democracy by her last commands and Zenith was thereby given back to its people, forever scarred by the touch of the abyss.

By the end of the nearly 10 year long spreading disease and war with the abyss, Zenith and its bordering realms was one large wound of spreading void. Demons and Fiends prowled the blackened sun and its flicker of life had nearly fated. Elision gathered her closest sisters in the sunmaiden guard and breeched the gates of the abyss to seek audience with its source and master; Abaddon. Here she made a deal, she gave her soul and self and that of her sisters to him, in exchange for the fate of the world. With that the abyss withdrew to the lowest reaches of the world, leaving the collapsed ruins and withered lands, which would forever be scarred by its touch. As a part of the deal one sister was allowed to leave, Omiron, who carried the last words of Elision to her people. Her words being; ''Eternity in the void, is worth a sliver of time in the heart of zenith, my heart, your heart. Keep it beating, keep it open, keep it loved and seen. Let every measure of pulse, echo eternity, let every small push reverberate into the cosmos and the dawn. As I leave, my love will stay. Let my sacrifice embrace your passions for truth in life and meaning in being''. Omiron was also charged with disbanding the monarchy, giving the empire back to the people. Making it a democracy. She was to oversee the shift and the regrowth of Zenith. With that done, she was to leave the lands in exile, becoming the last Aasamir and god touched being.
