Pangea
Also called; Gaia, Terra, Earth
Pangea is the home and birth planet of humans, halflings, dwarfs, orcs and many more less common races. It's rich with different biomes and climates. High mountain ranges, frozen tundra and never-ending deserts. All divided by an endless sea. Its surface is home to diverse life, monsters and beasts alike. Having suffered the collision and the many gravitational disasters following, its landscape both hides and highlights ruins of large lost empires and divine temples. Between the wreckage of past civilisations, new kingdoms and cities have sprung up and blossomed despite the annihilation. Slowly fusing into the Pangea that now spins in space among the stars and planes.
Until then the world was referred to by its inhabitants as Gaia, as named by the Elisiat people at the beginning of the second age, Gaia meaning; ''mother earth, land''.
Name
The name derives from the Nadreri language, mening ''all, entire, whole''. The name was first coined by explorer and scholar Galib Amner, in his book The Circumference, In 1474 AD during the second age. Geographical Structure
The surface of Pangea is divided between 3 large habitual continents: Zenith (Or; Zenithra), Nadir (Or; Nadireth) and Sheol (Or; Sheolra).
